What do welders, makers, and fabricators all have in common? They just send it.

Just Gonna Send It is our new podcast all about the people behind the machines, their wild stories, the moments they almost quit, and what kept them building anyways.

Episode 1 is dropping next week. Who’s ready? #sendcutsend #justgonnasenditpodcast by @sendcutsend

Here’s a bit of the process to make this fun little F22 Raptor desk display. After the parts are cut out at @sendcutsend they get a bit of milling and a bit of lasering. Made outta Grade 5 Titanium.

My designs all depend on a titanium finger cut by @sendcutsend.

Inspired by Chas Smith's claim that titanium is a superior tone metal, and Mitsuo Fujii's brilliant comprehensive tuning changer finger that could tune the raises and lowers AND the open string all on the finger.

These fingers combine those two visions in a fantastically simple way. I've cut out even more material with the hypotheses that perhaps this can aid in directing string vibration more efficiently into the wood body. Less is more.

It's all about the changer finger. That's the heart of the instrument. 💜🔩🎸 by @sendcutsend

Another attempt at dialing in my workbench instead of working on my cars 😂

This is v0.1, first prototype of a RM workstand. I wanted to make it fold, roll around the bench and spin, but then I got distracted by this skeleton web leg design I was sketching and then I decided to just make it happen. So I ordered a set of parts from @sendcutsend lasercut from 1.9mm stainless steel. (actually, I ordered the legs first and thought about a different top piece for a couple weeks before ordering it as well 😅)

I learned that the skeleton legs need to be thickened or add more internal structure, I can bend these ones with my hands. I will probably want to change something else too, but overall very happy to see it in person.

I’m going to see how this one holds up before I order the next revision from @sendcutsend . by @sendcutsend
