Editing this reel made me realize that living in a tropical country means I won’t have to deal with the challenges that come with four distinct seasons anymore. 🌴☀️

As much as I won’t miss the freezing days, unexpected rain (actually this happens so much more frequently and heavily) or carrying layers everywhere, I’ll definitely miss the charm that each season brought. 🍂❄️🌸☀️

I’m grateful I can look back on videos like these and remember both the struggles and the good times that came with them.

One thing I’m especially thankful for: despite leaving my iPhone on Timelapse in the middle of the street more times than I can count, constantly checking over my shoulder, it never got stolen. That’s a win. 😂

I always liked to think that people passing by had a little mercy for someone trying to do five things at once. 😅

This mural for @english.homeinbavi
(Hanoi, Vietnam 🇻🇳 ) was designed around one big idea: bringing the world into one colourful space for the children to explore ✨

Landmarks, food, traditional clothing, famous wonders, Vietnamese landscapes and a few unexpected adventures all came together 🧚‍♀️

The mural also became a little reflection of what I experienced during my month at the school: energetic classes, interactive activities, amazing local teaching assistants and teachers who put so much effort into making learning soooooo enjoyable 🥰 taken in Hanoi, Vietnam by @sendibruma

Sometimes healing doesn’t happen in bed 😅

Sometimes it happens with a brush in your hand 🖌️

While waiting for over few weeks to recover, and the antibiotics to finally do their job, I found myself tracing the island instead 🙌 its coastlines, its dive sites, its hidden corners, its stories.

With Sam from @funkyturtlehostel making sure every reef and every landmark found its rightful place, this mural slowly became more than a map. It became a love letter to Koh Tao 🏖️ 💕🧚‍♀️

Days of painting.
Layers of colour.
Sweat replacing rain.
Time quietly disappearing.

And somewhere between exhaustion and inspiration, this wall came to life !

Mural Day 2 at @labombonadiving diving centre Koh Tao 🌊🎨

Last night ended with projector setup magic thanks to @adrikohtao , helping transfer the mural design onto the wall before the real work could begin ✨

This morning started softly with Kaw becoming the muse for two adorable young artists during a spontaneous portrait session 🥹💕
So much talent in such little humans! keep practicing girls!! 🙌

Then reality kicked in 😂

I quickly realised how spoiled I was in London working with my Posca collection and all my favourite nib sizes. Painting these clean detailed lines entirely by brush, on walls textured like sandpaper, has slowed the process down massively 😅

Safe to say I completely underestimated the walls and overestimated my speed.

Still… progress was made.

Sometimes the best projects arrive through friends tagging your name in a group chat 💃🎨🫶🥰 I love you 🌺♥️🍉

Got tagged about 7 times, in the Latin dance Koh Tao chat (and private messages) about a mural opportunity at @labombonadiving centre… and before I could even think twice, I said yes!

Day one was dedicated to mapping out Koh Tao:
dive sites, wrecks, and a compass guiding the whole piece 🧭🌊💙

The day started simple🙌 half a watermelon after fasting for two days 🍉for breakfast and the day ended sweeter with vegan ice cream from @mi_kaw 🥹💕🍦
