Happy to survive the Canazai Hard Enduro and finish in 17th place overall after two days and 4 stages of racing. It was a weird and tough final day after racing stage 4 and then having it cancelled as well as 5 & 6. There was a four hour wait until the final stage which offered some good spectating.

It was a mental challenge to forget about stage 4 and re gain composure for the final test. In the end we can’t change the weather and have to focus on mountain safety. Mother nature always runs the show.
So we raced a super safe stage to finish 🤣👌🏼

6X @tdsenduro Champ!
What an incredible battle with the Canadian National champ @elliotjamieson_ all weekend. We went back and forth trading the overall stage after stage, 11 stages later I was able to come out on top by 2 seconds. Nice work Elliot, so impressive to see your pace for your first TDS appearance. hats off to @coltyyyp @blahavo @_myles.m_ @canyonwilcox for pushing the pace as well.

Day 2 was an absolute mudder, traction was pretty good but vision was the biggest challenge for me. Congrats on everyone who finished the race, that was one for the books.

Another Sea Otter in books! Really enjoyed camping with the @wildernesstrailbikes crew, and seeing so many friends. Got smoked in the dh (P-15) ….Back to the drawing board Rick.

Some more raw action from a wild trip to Mexico 🇲🇽 for @transierranorte and few more @nicoswit_photo gems. Like I mentioned in my previous post, we were treated to some incredibly fun and loamy new trails. Best described by @alvinchilldown in #2 as “Mexican Slicky Loamer”

There is an incredible article up on @pinkbike to recap the wild week of adventure. Go check it out, Nico and his son Cora did an amazing job.

Many people have asked me why I continue to race the TSN event… simply the trails, as they are 100% some of the best in the 🌎, the people that make this event happen and raw experience of Mexican culture that the Oaxaca mountains have to offer.
