The festival venue: The Cracker Factory in Geneva. Where you will find no crackers, but instead many rafters in this reimagined industrial space. Through the creativity and genius of FLX locals, it has become a hub for art, music, and community events.

Read on if you like fun facts, yay!

1️⃣ Like I said, absolutely no crackers - the building originally served as a manufacturing plant for the Geneva Cutlery Company and was once considered the largest razor manufacturer in the world.

2️⃣ When the owners bought the building in 2007 they rechristened it “The Cracker Factory” as a nod to an obscure line from The Simpsons.

3️⃣ Today, the first floor of the multi-story complex is occupied by Miles & May Furniture Works, a local company that handcrafts the yummiest furniture, the likes of which you’ve never seen.

4️⃣ The second floor has a full bar for events and will hold our two stages: one inside the main gallery space, and the second out on the deck.

We love women. Fun fact: we’re a women-led team and Seneca Sounds was founded by 2 women. It’s basically Women’s Appreciation Month every meeting, and I couldn’t be happier.

Meet the girlies of Seneca Sounds, y’all.

A few people asked me leading up to the festival how I was feeling. Were we prepared? Did we have all our ducks in a row, so to speak?

My response: when you have a bunch of Type A girls by your side, you’re basically unstoppable.

We have some great men helping too - we love our guys. But the majority of this team is made up of really strong, talented, smart women, and we’re pretty dang proud of that.

It’s hard to choose photos that encapsulate the experience 🪩

We’re energized, yet exhausted. Inspired, yet restless. And I guess pretty dang excited to say the least. It’s wild how 50 conflicting emotions can live inside us simultaneously all at once all the time.

But one thing is absolutely for certain. This will happen again next September. And we cant wait to see you there.

THE DAY IS HERE. Tickets are low, but there’s still a tiny bit of time. And I sure hope I see you, rain or shine.

Few things…

We are completely covered from the rain. So it really will be the best weather experience ever no matter what the lords reign down on us

Parking is actually really limited. I HIGHLY suggest you carpool or uber or walk.

Artist Spotlight: DELAQUES. Due to circumstances beyond anyones control - we had a little shift in the lineup. And yanno, I’m super excited about this new addition to the schedule!

They defy the gods with their hubris and invite all interested in dancing and debauchery to get down and have a dang good time.

Delaques formed in 2021 over a shared love of groove and collaboration, mixing old-school and modern influences into one chaotically cohesive sound.

Artist Spotlight: DJ GOURD. Keeping the dance floor moving and the smiles coming with a mix of funk, soul, disco, and house.

This guy has been a fixture of the Ithaca music scene since 2004, and a friendly face around these parts for a dang good reason. And I mean, if you don’t love hanging & dancing to Gourd, there might be somethin missing up there.
