Indonesia’s life expectancy in 2025 has reached 74.47 years. Yet most people retire at 55–58.

That means there’s nearly a 20-year second chapter ahead but too often, we treat it like the end of the story.

Today, Indonesia is home to 33.94 million seniors, with 63% of them in their 60s: energetic, experienced, and still ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

The real question isn’t whether seniors are capable of contributing.
It’s whether society is willing to make space for them.
