For World Photography Day I was asked what my best photo ever was. It would have to be this one. Mostly because of how bad I thought it would be. Sunlight directly in the lens to where I had to put my hand over it to prevent glare.

I was also having a meh experience with earlier locations. This spot was my go to for a few years and I was disappointed that I was there at the worst possible time of day. I took a bunch of shots and then decided to sit there and enjoy the falls without worrying how bad the pics would turn out. Got them on my computer when I got home and was pleasantly surprised. All the shots of these falls ended up way better than expected. I find myself zooming in and tracing the paths of the water and following the rays of sunlight.

No surprise to anyone who knows me that I took over 100 photos today at Antelope Canyon on my phone, not including my actual camera. Toughest thing I did today was voluntarily leave the slot canyon when the tour ended. Second toughest was picking only “a few” to post. taken in Lower Antelope Canyon by @senorcorrecto
