The Badenoch and Tory approach has always been to squeeze the poorest to force them into work. Wanting to CUT welfare should not be the end of the sentence.

Forcing desperate people into a flooded, high-unemployment labour market doesn't create jobs—it just crashes wages, expands zero-hour contracts, and crushes productivity. You cannot build a £52 billion regional economy in Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford region and universal studios by starving your workforce.
If you want true economic growth, you need Transition Hubs—funded pipelines for skills, tech training, and talent management. Without those hubs, skills atrophy and long-term unemployment becomes entrenched.
