A basic duck says “quack”. The Sprook duck says that you can learn a language without stress. For Sprook language school we created a logo that reflects how they actually teach. Sprook is a team of young, active teachers who help students start speaking English, Latvian and even German through games, interaction and real-life language. No boring academic pressure, only what really works. In the visual concept, we combined a playful duck character with a strict and confident typeface. This contrast shows the balance between a serious learning goal and light, modern teaching methods. This year was intense, busy and full of ideas! We worked with different brands, different goals, and very different vibes. This logofolio is just a small part of that journey. For us a logo is never just a nice shape. Every logo is a full process: briefing, discussions, research, testing, and thinking about how the brand will actually live and grow outside the screen. Here’s the thing: merch is not only for big companies or huge audiences. Even if your team has just two people, you can still stand out, build your identity and show that you’re part of something. For our design studio we created our own merch so our team can be noticed from far away. We used every side of the T-shirt: the back, the chest, even the shoulder. Not every creative path is a straight line — and that’s perfectly fine. Yesterday, we welcomed a group of international students to our studio. Our designer Liza @blizko.design gave a lecture about her journey in the world of design — a story with turns, detours, and valuable lessons along the way. She also shared her experience working with fabric printing technologies. For two years, Liza worked side by side with printmakers, focusing on garment prints. To make things more interactive, she brought real clothing samples with different types of prints, so the students could touch the materials, compare techniques, and understand how a digital design becomes something you can wear. Cloir: When Clothes Fit You Online shopping can be stressful. What if the clothes don’t fit? What if the style doesn’t look right? @cloir.lv solves this problem by creating a personal 3D model of the user. You can try on clothes virtually before buying. Because you don’t have to fit the clothes—the clothes should fit you. We supported this startup by designing a logo that reflects the idea of a perfect fit. The outline around the first letter matches it perfectly, just like clothes should match your body. The gradient in the logo represents diversity and individuality. We are happy to be part of a project that is changing the industry and making shopping easier. Merch That Speaks for Itself At an exhibition, it’s important to stand out—especially when you’re representing your school, brand, or project.
