I never planned for this to become such a big part of my life. It just slowly did. A year ago, this was just an idea. I wanted to sit down with founders who had already walked the path. To ask the questions I wished someone had asked them. To satisfy my own curiosity, and maybe help someone else building something of their own. I genuinely didn’t know where it would go. Fast forward a year, and we’re sitting across the table with some of the most incredible founders in the region. That still feels surreal. We’re starting this journey from Dubai. A city that broke me, built me, taught me resilience, and gave me the mindset to create fast, fail fast, and keep moving. It feels right that Commerce Couch begins here. Not as another founder podcast. But as a place where founders can speed up, reflect on the decisions that shaped their businesses, the mistakes nobody talks about, the moments they almost gave up, and the lessons they wish they’d learned sooner. If even one entrepreneur watches an episode and finds the answer they were looking for, every late night, every reshoot, every cancelled plan, and every hour spent building this was worth it. @khabib_nurmagomedov and I in the same recording room. And I’m still not over it 😭❤️ As a martial artist, I’ve looked up to this man for years. Not just because he’s undefeated, but because of his discipline, his values, and that calm champion mindset. The way he carries himself is so composed and grounded, it honestly makes you respect him even more. Getting to speak to him, tell him where I come from, and then that hug… bro I genuinely froze for a second. Like the world paused. I walked out of that room smiling like a kid, which I did after ages 😅 All I’ll say is… have a wild dream and pray for it. You genuinely never know how and when God will place you in moments like this. If this is what podcasting is going to bring into my life, I’m all in.
