What does the SensingHorse App show you?

The upper graph shows a dot, which represents the rider. The exact middle of the two lines is where the dot would be if the rider were to be in perfect balance. It can be seen that this rider currently leans to the front left of their horse.

The lower graph shows the pressure points of the saddle. This saddle has a bit more pressure on the right than in the left; a few pressure points can be seen (red). Besides this, the very left side of the graph shows pressure as well, whereas the right does not: this saddle has more pressure on the left shoulder than on the right. by @sensinghorse

Gain insight in your seat and reach an optimal balance. It’s a well-known fact that our seat is the main way of communicating with our horse during a training. Even the slightest tilt to the left or right is noticeable for our horse, and is likely to disturb the communication. With SensingHorse, you can gain insight in your seat during every single training. The smallest details are noticed by our special pad with sensors. Gain objective and clear advice on your current seat, and level up your performance!

You and your horse; just the two of you. As riders, we love to spend all our hours with our horses. Brushing, washing, petting, and riding. But is this feeling mutual for the horse? Study has shown a high prevalence of back issues among horses, often caused due to an improper fit of the saddle.

Make training and riding fun for both you and your horse with SensingHorse. Never again will your horse be ridden with an ill-fitting saddle. Interested in how our products work? Check our Instagram highlights! by @sensinghorse

It’s true. Study done for the Journal of Equine Veterinary Science in 2020 has shown that up to 74% of the saddles for both competitive and leisure horses do not fit properly.

Are you unsure of how your saddle fits? This is a common fear among horse owners, and it is not without reason. An ill-fitting saddle has a negative impact on both the horses’ health and performances; muscle atrophy and back stiffness are common implications.

With SensingHorse, you as a rider can detect ill-fitment yourself. With our pad and additional app, you can gain insight on the fit of your saddle every day. Get informed on the fit of your saddle quick and easy with SensingHorse. by @sensinghorse
