We continue our series ‘Conversations with Artists’ — a chance to get to know the artists whose work inspires us, hear their stories and discover the ideas behind their practice.

Today, we’re talking to Katya Shkolnik @katya.shkolnik, a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the intersections of time, memory, and human experience.

In the carousel, you'll see the photographic series Chiwong Monastery, which tells the story of a place where past and future seem to stand still in the present. Preserving centuries of wisdom while quietly absorbing the new, the monastery feels timeless — these photographs could have been taken a hundred years ago or a hundred years from now.

At the heart of the series are the young monks: lively and playful like any other children, yet sometimes their gaze suddenly reveals an unexpected stillness and depth. Through these moments, the series reflects on time, inner peace, and the feeling of encountering something much larger than ourselves.

We’re proud to announce a new strategic collaboration with g · gallery @g.gallery_barcelona, a Barcelona-based contemporary art gallery with an international outlook.

Sensity will work alongside the gallery across communications, international positioning, and the development of joint projects, but our shared ambition goes further. Together, we want to create a stronger two-way dialogue between Barcelona and the global art ecosystem: bringing compelling international artistic voices to the city, while creating new pathways for local artists to gain visibility, build meaningful relationships, and reach wider global audiences.

At the heart of g · gallery is a commitment we strongly share: discovering emerging talent and cultivating the next generation of collectors. Its programme includes artists such as Alessandra BB @abbpainting, Danil Dege @danil_dege, Giorgia Roversi @giorgia_roversi, Julian Manzelli Chu @chu_doma, Mariano Pascual @mariano_pascual and Mutto Matto @muttomattoart.

For Sensity, this collaboration is also part of something bigger. We believe the future of the art world is built not only through individual exhibitions, but through strong ecosystems, long-term relationships, and meaningful international exchange.

Barcelona has extraordinary creative energy. We want to help connect more of it to the world🩷 taken in G • gallery by @sensitystudio

The Art Newspaper @theartnewspaper.official has included Sensity @sensitystudio in its international guide to artist management agencies and consultancies working with artists beyond the traditional gallery model.
The article features around 20 organisations from across the world and looks at how the infrastructure of the art market is evolving.

The article highlights our focus on storytelling and artist positioning, interdisciplinary collaborations, institutional relationships and building international recognition.

I also really like the broader point the article makes: boutique artist management is becoming a distinct part of the art ecosystem. It doesn’t necessarily replace the traditional gallery model; it can work alongside it, providing artists with the strategy, relationships and support needed to build sustainable, internationally recognised practices.

The latest work by artist and architect Olga Treivas @treivas & Treivas team @treivas.team: a new collectible design series that was featured on the cover of Casa Vogue 2026🩷

The new chapter of her long-running Emma series, Sol Na Peneira, explores the meeting of furniture, textile craft and architecture through sculptural wooden pieces with hand embroidery.

We are proud to represent Sandy Coburn @sandy_coburn – an award-winning American fine-art photographer based in The Hague, Netherlands.

Sandy explores how light, unmanipulated colour, and form reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Her practice is unified by a specific philosophical approach to seeing, guided by the principles of Taoism and Buddhism. Approaching her subjects with a documentarian’s precision and a fine artist’s poetic sensibility, she captures the dreamlike, surreal truths that reside within real spaces.

Coburn’s portfolio spans 35 countries, encompassing numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites on five continents.

Her photographs have been exhibited across the UK and Italy, including features at the Edinburgh Art Fair and the International Prize Poseidon for the Arts in Venice. Her work has also been published widely in European art periodicals.

“I create art that invites viewers to pause, look more deeply, and rediscover awe within the world”, — Sandy Coburn🩷 by @sensitystudio

We are proud to introduce the newest artist represented by Sensity Studio 🩷

Dasha Wesel @dasha_wesel (b. 1985, Belarus) is a U.S.-based visual artist working in geometric abstraction and conceptual art. Her practice focuses on drawing and serial composition. A background in engineering and design shapes her precise, disciplined approach to creating layered systems of form, balance, and color.

Her series is based on black-and-white drawings, lines, and simple geometric shapes. Wesel’s method is to refine a single blueprint with every turn, using color to transform it into several separate paintings.

Dasha’s statement is simple: “We are all born with the same default settings, but our lives change based on our environment, upbringing, and how we are loved and perceived. My work is a bridge between memory and life at the very moment. Memories combined with today’s emotions fuel my creativity, acting as an awakening so we don’t forget to live fully today.
Through color, I breathe a new story into a “simple” blueprint, turning graphic lines into a colorful kaleidoscope on canvas. I want to show that on any gray day, there is always color and light». by @sensitystudio

Today, something happened that means far more to me than just a media mention.

The Art Newspaper @theartnewspaper.official, one of the most respected media outlets in the global art world, published a feature, written by Anny Shaw @annyleshaw on the growing trend of artist management agencies as an alternative to the traditional gallery model.

Among companies from New York, Los Angeles, and Berlin, they mentioned Sensity @sensitystudio — a company I founded just two years ago.

When I launched Sensity, I had no network in the art world, no established name behind me, and no investors. What I did have was a belief that female artists need a partner who can help build their career, visibility, and international opportunities.

That is why this recognition means so much to me because it validates the vision behind what we are building🩷

But there is one more reason I wanted to share this.

Over the past few years, I have learned that it is absolutely possible to move to a new country, start from scratch, build an international business, and earn a seat at the global table.

Especially as a woman.

Too often, women are encouraged to be more realistic, choose the safer path, or wait until they feel ready. But many things seem impossible only until someone does them.

So if you are thinking about starting a company, changing careers, moving countries, or pursuing an ambition that feels too big — take this as a sign to keep going.

There is always a room for your vision, bold ideas and courage🩷 by @sensitystudio
