1st annual back to school footwear drive 👟

We will be collecting lightly worn footwear on 7/5/24 and dispersing them to school kids of need on 8/18/24.

Every attending person is required to register and can choose 1 pair of shoes of their choice.

Registration and all details will be available 7/10/24 once we confirm all sizes available.

✨ Impulse control and sensory needs are closely related for many children, especially those with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Children with poor impulse control often have difficulty regulating their sensory input, leading to fidgeting, interrupting, or blurting out answers.

👉 Addressing their sensory needs through activities such as heavy work, oral sensory input, and movement breaks can help to improve their impulse control and overall ability to focus and learn in the classroom.🧒 💕

Heavy work activities can be incredibly beneficial for children who struggle with staying calm and focused. 🙌

✨ These activities are designed to provide a deep pressure input to the body and can be used to help kids regulate their emotions and behavior.

Some examples of heavy work activities include:

🔹regular push-ups,
