Come pull up a seat at my virtual table and stay awhile. I’m so happy you’re here!

In Christ, we are one body. The global church, by the grace of God and the finished work of Jesus Christ, will spend eternity together with our God. How cool is it that we get a peek into each other’s lives here on earth?

I am humbled, and it’s never lost on me, any opportunity I am given to use my words to share, encourage and build others up for His glory.

God has softened my heart over the course of my walk with Him to care deeply about sharing my faith and what He is doing in my heart.

We were meant to live as a witness, a light to the world, a city on a hill - to season each part of our lives - as the salt of the earth, carrying our faith beyond the stained glass and Sunday hymns.

A relationship with Jesus is the truest treasure you’ll ever find and I desire everyone to know that truth.

While this page isn’t geared toward my personal life, parts of me personally will certainly be reflected upon. I never want this page to feel like a hollow shell of religious jargon. Rather, a place to come and read meaningful words, thoughtfully written to point you back to the One worth knowing.

You should know, I’m just an ordinary gal, writing words about the Lord of my life, His infallible Word and the faith I am grateful to never live without.

Ordinary people in the hands of an Almighty God can be apart of extraordinary things as He uses us for His Kingdom purposes. I am so grateful I get to share this space with you!

This is a loaded thread and most certainly isn’t exhaustive. There are plenty of ways we can be found ‘being and making disciples’ in our ordinary.

Discipleship is close to my heart. So, I would love to hear from you how you find discipleship looks in your everyday?!

One thing is true for us all: When we abide in our Master, we will be imitators of Him.

A true disciple will not be one that outgrows his Teacher, but as he remains teachable, he will increasingly look more and more like the One who teaches.

So, may we all desire to remain teachable by our Lord, so that as we look to Jesus, He will shape our hearts that we might look more like Him - the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2)

May the Lord bless you today and all of your tomorrows, too!

Just a little encouragement as you head into the weekend.

The Bride of Christ is one body. When your fellow believer experiences God’s favor, the church wins.

When your fellow believer acts in obedience, the church wins.

When your fellow believer operates out of surrender, the church wins.

When your fellow believer allows grace to work in and through them to bring God glory, heaven rejoices and the church wins.

Celebrate one another and be encouraged by the unity Christ died to give His people.

Just some thoughts on grace this week.

• “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,” Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬

• “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬

• “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬

“We do not like being told that we are the problem. In my experience, humanity will never like the sound of this.

Just because there is no one good but God alone, doesn’t automatically mean that everyone is the most absolute corrupt they’ll ever be. It doesn’t mean you cannot find a single human able to produce an act that is morally right.

Outwardly, we can produce ‘works that appear good’. Externally, we can show up and show off in ways that portray what is right. Someone doesn’t need to believe in God, the unshakable truth of His Word or agree with the standard of perfection and holiness He requires, to produce a good deed.

Just because the outcome of the act was good, doesn’t mean the root was pure. That’s because the heart of the issue will always be an issue of the heart.”

“There is only One who was and is worthy enough to earn heaven. Yet, Jesus never considered His equality with God something that we should grasp.

When you sit with the truth that you cannot save yourself, that you have sinned against God far more than you yourself will ever be sinned against and you are helpless in your own strength to find life - only then will you understand the paradoxical grace that sits at the core of the Christian faith.

Everything that is natural to my human heart, Jesus came to turn on its head. Everything I am naturally drawn to, every facet I am prone to defend, every ounce of my sin that I am bound and shackled by, Christ made a way for me to be free and forgiven.

He died, so I may live. He humbled Himself that I may wear His robes of righteousness. He offers my unholiness grace upon grace that I may be able to grasp the magnitude of His holiness. He draws near to me that I may come close to the mystery of knowing the Triune God.

The One who is all-powerful showed His great strength as He conquered death by way of becoming cursed, specifically for the humanity that brought the curse upon themselves.

He continually uses what the world considers weak to shame the strong.

The written Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. He gave us His Law to show us the standard that we could never obtain, to teach us a way we would never choose on our own accord.

The King of Kings, met me in the valley of my own sin and became a servant, that I may learn to serve.

He humbled Himself unto death on a cross, displaying His sovereignty in the form of submission, for the sake of my soul finding life everlasting.

There is no greater paradox than how a holy God loves an unholy you.”

It’s tempting to look at the hard someone is going through while standing on the sideline of their trial and think, “I could never”, “I pray I never have to…”, or “I don’t know what I would do if…”. But the fact is, God hasn’t asked you to endure their hard, only your hard.

Grace is something that we are always offered an abundance of but it isn’t something that we can have on reserve, storing it up to tap into as needed.

We’ve been given access to the presence and power of the Spirit of God, at all times, who is Himself, the storehouse of grace and will give it to us in the measure we need it, when we need it.

He gives us our daily bread. Our manna for the moment. New mercies each morning.
The grace given to us that allows us to face our present reality gives us reason to hold an honest hope.

She prayed and He answered; giving her not only everything she needed, but everything she would’ve asked for, if she could see what God sees.

The reminder that we cannot bear good fruit apart from abiding in Christ, is a reminder we cannot hear too often.

He is the Vine, we are the branches. He is our source, we are His vessels.

When we are connected to Christ, we notice, we obey, we bear.

May you abide deeply, abide continually, bear fruit by His grace.
