There is something so powerful in people coming together with no other purpose other than to share in the love and joy that music and dance give us 🩷

In a world that focusses so much energy on negativity, drama and stress, it is absolutely vital that we share moments that are pure happiness.🩷

These moments elevate our vibration, regulate our nervous system, allow our inner child to play and remind us of what is most important in life… and in turn this elevates the vibration of the people closest to us and spreads love and joy into the world. 🩷

Thank you Liam and Jane for inviting me to perform with you on Heritage Day, and to share in giving your special gift to the world! I love you both madly! 🩷

I was r*ped when I was 19 years old. I was one of the “lucky ones” who survived GBV 🖤
And the reason he told me he selected me: “that will teach you to be so bubbly”

For 2 decades those words haunted me. I toned down every aspect of my “bubbliness” - my friendliness, my confidence, my joy, my presence - so that I could be safe, and I made many terrible life choices because I didn’t feel I deserved better.

It’s only been in my 40s, after a lot of deep healing work, that I have been able to fully embrace being bubbly Senta again and to fully share joy, love and healing with the world like I always wanted to.

We shouldn’t have to tone ourselves down, dress conservatively, check our surroundings, share our locations, live in fear everyday of being “selected”

My heart breaks for the women who did not survive, and for their families.
And I hold in love all the women who are feeling triggered by what they are seeing this week because of their own experiences.

Today, I wear black & hold hands with all the strong, beautiful, powerful women and men of South Africa who are speaking up in vulnerabravery, and I say thank you to all the loving, kind men who speak up and help us to feel safer 🖤 by @senta.seele

One of my favourite stories about the Sun and the Moon is that they were lovers.

But the universe had given them an impossible destiny.

The Sun belonged to the day.
The Moon belonged to the night.

Every morning, the Sun would rise
just as the Moon was disappearing.

Until one day, the universe decided
that even celestial lovers deserve a moment
to forget the rules.

And so it created the eclipse.
For a few extraordinary minutes, the Sun and Moon would finally find one another.

Perhaps that is why eclipses have always felt so powerful.

Because they remind us that the impossible can become possible.

Because sometimes the universe gives us an extraordinary plot twist.

Because sometimes the “rules” need to be broken so that we can live our soul purpose fully and intentionally.

Because sometimes we have to cross the darkness to live a life filled with the love we once thought didn’t exist.

Because sometimes 2 people that should never have crossed paths can start a beautiful new story together.

Because sometimes the greatest love stories are the ones that only exist because of one powerful, magical moment. 🤍 by @senta.seele
