I’ve had a full summer with meal prepping and have enjoyed every minute of it! I had assistance with a couple of the meals. Did you notice my second son lifting the chicken off the grill spit? (He’s “swole” 💪🏽🏋🏾‍♂️🤭). Did you notice my nephew’s helping hands with the Asian Pan Dumplings? He took time off the basketball court. ⛹🏾‍♂️ We’re all fancy, it runs deep in this family.🤭❤️

Tacos are a quick fix meal and are very filling. My niece is the fastest cook I know! She can whip up a delicious meal in 30 meals or less. She whipped out these cute taco holders because she’s fancy!🤭❤️

My niece gifted me a beautiful Monstera plant. She has a “green thumb” and gave me tips on how to care for my new plant named “Baby.” Two plane rides later we were home. Come enjoy the ride! 🛫🛬🍃🌱We’re fancy!🤭❤️ by @sentimentaljojo

The Texas Sheet Cake never disappoints me. It’s so rich, chocolatey and moist. If you really want to faint just add a scoop of ice cream. This recipe has a surprise ingredient. Can you guess what it is? I posted this recipe in a previous reel and you’ll find the recipe and unexpected ingredient there. Just put it on a pretty plate because we’re fancy.😋❤️

Grilled chicken lunch bowls are real crowd pleasers. The best part about grilling is that you can grill just about anything. So while it’s out and set up throw on various proteins and veggies then layer your containers beginning with rice. You’ll be glad you did because we’re fancy.😋❤️

Rotisserie chicken over hot coals and hickory for meal prep. I saved the carcass for a smokey broth. I like to grill in the morning before the sun gets too hot. 🥵 The chicken was paired with fresh green beans and buttered Amish noodles.

I’m continuing with the second installment of this meal prep project. There are two individuals for this project and I typically make four servings of one meal so there’s more variety. If there are any leftovers of meat or vegetables I turn it into something different to add to the variety. This meal consists of corned beef, whipped roasted sweet potatoes and a combo of sautéed cabbage with green beans. They use glass containers that are freezer and oven safe because they’re fancy!🤭❤️

Three years have passed quickly but the memories are fresh. Mom was an extraordinary woman, a truly godly woman. She was always calm, cool, collected and poised. She was always available to talk and listen to whom ever called her with a challenge. She had a way of saying things that calmed you down. Mom had a strong prayer life and diligently prayed over decades for friends and family. She kept everything in journals some of which were held together with rubber bands. She loved and was proud of her family. She lived to see three generations. They were on her mind during her last week as she gave instructions on making sure her grands and great-grands received their birthday cards with money she’d set aside for them. She loved God and spoke of His goodness as she quietly slipped into glory.
Thank you Mom, you taught us about God and Jesus. You showed us how to live and we are grateful.

This was my second “Auntie Project” this summer. My 16 year old great-niece asked me to help her with her Sweet Sixteen birthday party. It was truly a family affair because all of the aunties, uncles and cousins swooped in to support her, her parents and grandparents!

Dumplings are one of my favorite things to eat but I’ve always ordered them from a menu. I tried my hand at this dumpling trend that I’ve seen several creators jump on and I was not disappointed!! Hubby and I have enjoyed this meal several times. It’s quick, delicious and easy. I’ve added this to my meal prep roster.

It was a beef kind of day since I found a beautiful package of beef chunks on sale. I decided to add some Asian flavors to it and use my trusty crockpot. I put a round mound of rice in a pretty bowl, topped it with my Asian beef stew, added some roasted veggies because we’re fancy.😋❤️
