Day 13 of 30: Practicing in public until I don’t suck at it! 🔁📍

We are almost at the halfway point, and today we’re squashing a huge content creation myth.

💡 Day 13 Tip: It’s 100% okay to practice in the same place more than once—in fact, you should. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking every single video needs a brand-new, exotic backdrop. Returning to a location you’ve already filmed at removes the stress of scouting, lets you focus purely on your outfit and delivery, and shows you direct proof of how much more comfortable you’ve gotten in that exact space.

Repetition builds mastery. Do you have a default spot you always catch yourself going back to for fit checks? Let’s keep building!

Day 12 of 30: Practicing in public until I don’t suck at it! 🕶️🎬
We’re moving right along in week two, and today’s tip is the ultimate cheat code for cinematic, low-pressure videos.
💡 Day 12 Tip: Practice in public without looking at the camera. If locking eyes with the lens while people walk past feels too intense, don’t look at it. Focus on fixing your cuff, checking your watch, looking down the street, or just walking past the frame. Treating the camera like a fly on the wall instantly lowers your anxiety and actually makes your fit check look way more effortless and candid.
You don’t always have to stare down the lens to deliver a clean video. Do you prefer cinematic, candid clips or direct talk-to-camera style? Let’s keep stacking!

Day 11 of 30: Practicing in public until I don’t suck at it! ☕️📚

Day 11 in the books, and today we are leaning into familiar turf to keep the nerves low.

💡 Day 11 Tip: Practice in places you already go all the time. Don’t waste energy hunting down new or intimidating locations every single day. Head to your regular coffee shop, your local bookstore, or the spot where you usually grab lunch. When you’re in a comfortable, familiar environment, you’re already at ease—making it ten times easier to whip out the camera and talk through your fit.

Familiarity breeds comfort. What’s your ultimate go-to spot in your city that you visit every single week? Drop it below!

Day 10 of 30: Practicing in public until I don’t suck at it! 📈

Double digits! We hit Day 10, and today is all about striking while the iron is hot.

💡 Day 10 Tip: Practice when you’re already feeling good about yourself. Don’t wait for a designated time slot if you’re feeling sluggish. If you wake up, hit a great workout, get good news, or just feel like your outfit is a 10/10, capitalize on that high energy immediately. Riding a natural wave of confidence makes stepping out with a camera feel seamless instead of forced.

When your self-talk is already positive, public judgment loses its power. Do you find it easier to film on high-energy days, or do you prefer having a strict daily schedule? Let’s keep stacking!

Day 9 of 30: Practicing in public until I don’t suck at it! 🔄🎬

We’re closing in on the double digits, and today is all about the real secret to making progress.

💡 Day 9 Tip: Be consistent when you’re practicing in public. Confidence isn’t something you just wake up with one morning—it’s a muscle built through repetition. Shooting once a week won’t desensitize you to the awkwardness, but showing up continuously forces your brain to realize that nobody is actually watching as closely as you think. Consistency turns public anxiety into pure routine.

It’s not about having a flawless shoot every time; it’s just about showing up. What’s one habit you’re trying to stay consistent with right now? Let’s keep moving!

Day 8 of 30: Practicing in public until I don’t suck at it! 🚶🏽‍♂️🎬

Sorry about the audio but Welcome to week two! Today we are adding some movement to the mix to shake off the stiffness.

💡 Day 8 Tip: Practice in public while you’re on a walk. If standing completely stationary with a tripod feels like it’s drawing too much attention, keep it moving. Holding the camera while walking, or setting it up to capture you walking past, gives you a natural purpose. It shifts the energy from “standing around waiting to be looked at” to just passing through the space. Plus, it gives your outfit some great natural motion.

Movement is the ultimate cheat code for looking relaxed. Do you prefer stationary fit checks, or do you like capturing clothes in motion? Let’s keep pushing!

Day 7 of 30: Practicing in public until I don’t suck at it!
We officially made it through week one!

Today we’re talking about a quick hack to keep you from freezing up once you hit record.

Day 7 Tip: Practice what you’re going to say before you actually step out and record.

Run through your outfit breakdown or your yapping points once or twice in your head (or out loud in the car) before you set up the tripod. When you already know your opening line and your key points, you won’t get stuck in your head or trip over your words when people walk past.

Preparation is the ultimate killer of public anxiety.
Do you prefer to wing your videos, or do you need a mental game plan before you hit record? Let’s lock in for week two!
