This rectangular stool, intended for our upstairs neighbors, is a gift we are delighted to present.
The artwork featured on the stool is the result of extensive discussions with Ro'i, ultimately leading to the selection of Henri Matisse's "Beasts of the Sea" (1950). This particular piece exemplifies Matisse's later period, characterized by his distinctive paper cutouts.
Per the request, I have incorporated several of Matisse's classic motifs onto the legs of the stool.

Hey Argentinian friends! A couple of years ago, I was at the timber warehouse and grabbed some wood blocks for future projects - no specific idea in mind.
Eventually, I decided to make this Mafalda (by Quino) block for a shelf decoration. I like its weight, and how you can constantly turn it to get a slightly different view of the artwork. by @sepiucraftedtables

This Matisse-inspired stool was created following an class with first-grade students, focusing on the artist's cut-out technique, which Matisse himself referred to as "drawing with scissors."

The artwork integrated into the design is derived from Henri Matisse's Nu Bleu IV (1952). I appreciate the elegant simplicity and aesthetic appeal of the human form.

This represents my inaugural stool design, featuring legs angled at 10 degrees. All components are crafted from reclaimed wood, diverting them from landfill disposal.
