I used to think exhaustion, brain fog, and feeling like a stranger in my own body was just... life. Turns out it was my hormones, my adrenals, my thyroid -cortisol and stress quietly running the show long before anyone said the word "menopause." 🦩

Litewell changed that for me. This is my story of finally getting real answers and starting to feel like myself again.

I'm sharing it because I know I'm not the only one - whether you're deep in burnout in your 20s and 30s, navigating perimenopause, or on the other side of menopause altogether. This isn't just a menopause conversation. It's for any woman who's been running on empty and wondering why her body doesn't feel like her own.

I've been successful. But I learned my trauma served me. It made me a perfectionist. It made me never miss a deadline. It made me a workaholic. It made me never rest. It made me never satisfied. It made me easy to use. It made me physically sick.

But no more. This my "me" era. This is my "calm" era. This is my "build community" era.

This is what it looked like last time we gathered women for a day of wellness in Phoenix 🦩 In partnership with Senita and Simplicity Co. Movement, we packed the room with several hundred women and the energy was unmatched!

So we're doing it again. Introducing **The Flamingo Effect: Return to Self.** (disclaimer: not co-sponsored by Senita and Simplicityco)

Flamingos lose their color while raising their chicks, and only regain it once those chicks are grown — a perfect mirror for what happens to so many of us as women. We give and give, and lose touch with our own vitality along the way. This event is about getting that color back.

Two founders. One shared obsession with community and entrepreneurs. 👀

Jenna, founder of @theyriseup and @seracollective, and @alexandercatedral got an early look at @flexetc.us , a new coworking and warehouse space in Phoenix built for entrepreneurs who are ready to turn their ideas and products into real businesses.

We have both spent years building the kinds of spaces and communities we believe entrepreneurs actually need, so getting to experience Flex before the doors officially open felt like a full-circle moment.

And naturally, we couldn’t just take a tour. 😂 We sat down right there in the space and recorded a podcast episode about authenticity, storytelling, and what it really takes to build something meaningful.

I used to think control was the same thing as strength.

Type A. Eldest daughter. Master project manager of my own life. I never let anything hit the ground. Work, family, religion, community, all of it, held up by me refusing to drop the ball.

Then midlife happened.

I lost the estrogen. I lost the energy to people please. I lost the wherewithal to control anything anymore. I was just too tired to keep holding it all.

And in that exhaustion, I was forced to surrender.

Not because I wanted to. Because I had no other choice.

I named my business after this. What will be will be.
I've worked hard. I've built myself up. I've given back. So now I just hope it was enough. I hope I did enough.

And I surrender the rest to the universe, to whatever you call the divine, and trust it will take care of me.

And somehow, since I let go, I've never magnetized more abundance in my life.

As my friend @itsmelanieperalta_ says " The universe has got me."
