I'm so grateful for the last days.
Joining the wonderful Biennale Bregaglia, discussing, eating, laughing with inspiring fellow artists was a treasure, which I will keep in my heart for a long time.

We all came together to let the project Noplace grow.

Noplace is a rhizom, a possibility, a surprise.
We occupied the whole village, acting like a huge mushroom, spreading in churches, hotels, public and half public places all over Maloja.

Showing pictures of our collaboration project with Anaïs Vouillamoz @ana_vouuuuu called "Conversations with a Landscape" at the hotel Maloja Kulm was a wonderful experience.
We started this series in 2022, while my residency at Kunsthaus Klosters.
I felt like I want to be swallowed by the landscape, the beauty of the nature around me was all so enormous. So I went into the mountains, accompanied by Swiss photographer Anaïs Vouillamoz, and started my conversations with the sorroundings. Anaïs observed me like she would be following a special way of insect.
Her amazing photos capture the very core of my lanscape performances: an intimate relationship with the rocks, the clouds, the trees and berries, the snow and the fog, the sunset and the lakes.

I'm exited to join Biennale Bregaglia with our series "Conversations with a Landscape", which we started with Swiss photographer Anaïs Vouillamoz @ana_vouuuuu 2022. The photos can be seen on 19th September in the Maloja Kulm Hotel, as part of the Rhizome project of NoPlace @noplace.space5 It's wonderful to be a rhizome, you don't know, what is going to happen through the whole day. So come to Maloja! Everything will be full of art & surprise. I might even perform...

Food, music and Kitchen Lab brought us together once again at the Zurich archipelago, thanks to @kioer

Thank you to Pepa & Milo for sharing the rich flavours of Bolivia and your amazing energy, and to everyone who joined us to cook, taste, learn and connect. @serahanga thank you too for adding the artistic dimension to our menu. It was the perfect finishing touch to a truly memorable evening.

Every week reminds us that the table is one of the best places to discover new cultures and flavours.

Don’t miss our final session, where we’ll travel through the flavours of Peru. We hope to see you there!

Essen, Musik und das Kitchen Lab haben uns dank Kiör erneut im the Zurich archipelago zusammengebracht.

Vielen Dank an Pepa & Milo, dass ihr die vielfältigen Aromen Boliviens und eure unglaubliche Energie mit uns geteilt habt, sowie an alle, die mit uns gekocht, probiert, gelernt und Kontakte geknüpft haben. Hanga Séra, auch dir vielen Dank dafür, dass du unserem Menü eine künstlerische Note verliehen hast. Das war der perfekte Abschluss eines wahrhaft unvergesslichen Abends.

Jede Woche wird uns wieder bewusst, dass der Esstisch einer der besten Orte ist, um neue Kulturen und Geschmacksrichtungen zu entdecken.

Verpasst nicht unsere letzte Veranstaltung, bei der wir eine Reise durch die Geschmackswelten Perus unternehmen werden. Wir hoffen, euch dort zu sehen!

Heute gab es wunderbare Bolivianische Gerichte mit @expotranskultur und dazu eine literarische Nachspeise der Künstlerin @serahanga.

Morgen Mittwoch fällt das Mittagessen aufgrund von Gewitterwarnungen leider aus.

Vom 6. Juni bis zum 12. Juli 2026 findet das Kunstfestival «The Zurich Archipelago – Recreating Common Grounds» statt. Das Festival verwandelt den Zürcher Stadtraum mit Installationen, Performances und gemeinschaftlichen Formaten in ein Gefüge temporärer Inseln der Begegnung.

June at Platzspitz Zurich: In the bamboo Pavillon of the Bangladeshi artist group @britto_arts_trust there will be a free Bolivien lunch cooked by @expotranskultur I will add a delicious literary dessert at the end (no, not a reading) Come by at 1 p.m! Meet Alma and her late husband Franz

These beautiful little creatures had been waiting patiently for somebody to discover their silent grace. In my parasite artwork for the Open studio @fundaziunnairs I've added their life stories in form of branches.
Their lovers, husbands, wifes and children are represented by each of the twings, their joy and loss is captured within the thin wood.

Vom 6. Juni bis zum 12. Juli 2026 findet das Kunstfestival «The Zurich Archipelago – Recreating Common Grounds» statt. Kuratiert von @mvaartagency

Das Herz des Festivals befindet sich im Platzspitzpark neben dem HB - es ist ein wunderbares Bambuspavillon der Bangladeshi KünstlerInnengruppe @britto_arts_trust, wo jeden Tag Di-So gekocht und gemeinsam gegessen wird.
Am Dienstag 30. Juni gibt es ein leckeres bolivianisches Mittagessen des interkulturellen Vereins @expotranskultur, mit denen ich bereits seit Jahren zusammenarbeite.
Dieses Mal plane ich eine partizipative Performance, dessen Fokus sich auf die Verbindung zwischen Menschen und Pflanzen richtet.

Arriving finally in Nairs.
I'm going to work on a series of objects during the next two weeks. I've already met some of the artists of the residency, enjoyed the sunset under the trees and listened to the eternal murmuring of the river Inn.

To move, as if you move for the very first time. If your hands and feet, your legs and arms have never experienced before, what it feels cutting the air, lifting up, making a step.
