Susie, the feral mother of five kittens, discovered one morning in my front garden. She was incredibly thin and dusty. Didn't have enough milk so I started feeding the kittens. They and Susie got fat and happy. I made them a little house, which they slept in. I named them, and found them homes for when they were eight weeks. They often disappeared to play in the empty lot up the street but always came running to my whistle, which meant 'food'. One morning, the whistle but just Susie, crying pitifully. The kittens had been taken by two women, despite the evidence of a house to live in, bowls for meals, and toys. So Susie moved in with me, and sleeps by my head and is all shiny and black and white. So very happy black cat with a white tummy day. by @serenabass23

didn't really grasp what a looker 9 year old Jack was, when I got him from Sean Casey rescue. He's heavy and won't stop shedding, no matter how much I brush him. He loves it and purrs constantly. Hoping his late brother Tiger approves. by @serenabass23
