This time last year I wasn't able to really celebrate my birthday because I was preparing for treatment. In the years prior, I would camp with my nearest and dearest. So these photos are from the year before. We feasted on pancakes, hot pot and pizzas. Shared bottles of wine and lazed about in the water. I can't wait until I'm well enough to do this again 🫶🏼 by @serenacsiow

An odd promise I made to myself was to dedicate my feed on this account to posting film photography. It's heavily restricting but luckily I squeeze some shots in whenever I'm shooting digital too.

I'm launching a website to sell my beaded jewellery very soon, so soon that I can taste it. Here are some simple experimental film photos from a photo shoot I did with some of my pieces in a river.

It was the first time that I went camping after my diagnosis. It felt incredible to create. I "Andy Goldsworthy'd" it and created a rock circle with @jazzstacy and @_l.higgy to be a backdrop for my product shots.

Sam and I have been building this website from scratch. Staying up til midnight most nights pushing it out. I made my own font, we did another product photoshoot together. From our little fingertips comes @made.by.molik

Amazing, it takes a village. I hope that Molik can bring some joy to someone's day. I can't wait to launch <3 by @serenacsiow

Beautiful friends from afar.

Lately I have been feeling isolated. Living in different cities from my loved ones doesn't help and I also find myself struggling trying to make new connections.

This year one of the biggest things to alter my life happened but at the same time, I feel like I have nothing to talk about. I don't want to bring up "I had cancer" or "I'm recovering from chemo" in every conversation. It's repetitive and isn't a nice thing to talk about.

I'm constantly being pushed out of my comfort zone both by my surroundings and by choice. It's a challenge to show up to social events. I know I'll get there one day though. Sometimes I just need to be proud that I even showed face.
