^how it feels to have 20/20 VISION!

For those of you who know me, I am (was🥹) BLIND. -10 in both eyes with some thick a$$ specs.

After 30 years of reaching for my glasses every morning and having to wear one contact lens at gigs because I ran out (🥲), I finally decided to pull the trigger on getting LASIK.

Well.. turns out I was too blind for LASIK and EVO ICL surgery was the only way for me to achieve 20/20. I had SEVERE dry eyes so it was a journey just to get my eyes ready and able to undergo the procedure. This was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done but also one of the most rewarding.

Do something sweet for yourselves today because you absolutely deserve it. 🫶🏼✨

Grateful for new chapters, great literature, and uncomfortable conversations. How about you?

If my twenties were about becoming who I thought I needed to be, thirty has been about unlearning. Letting go of what looked impressive but didn’t feel right. Choosing depth over distraction. Realizing the life meant for me won’t require me to abandon myself in order to keep it.

I’ve been the girl who chased excitement. The woman who built a career. The twenty-something who fell head over heels in love. The high-functioning adult who quietly fell apart. The stubborn one who rejected truth in favor of reckless self abandon. An artist.. searching.

Thirty has shown me not every season is meant to be loud.. some are quietly and simply meant to change you.
