Trying Wendy’s in the UK for the first time!
📍Kingsbury, London (Big up NW London)

Here’s what we got:
The Baconator - 7/10
The Spicy Chicken Sandwich - 8.5/10 (don’t add free extra sauce to the burgers, they’re good as they are)
Baconator fries - 8/10
Chicken nuggets- 9.5/10 (These were so elite, just tad expensive for the number you get cos it was almost a £1/nugget)
Fries - 8.5/10 (Look basic but were perfectly crunchy and salted)
Vanilla Frosty - 6.5/10 (It was aight and a good balance but nothing special)

Overall: 8/10
P.S Don’t plan any activities to do after, this meal will knock you out

If you’re ever craving seafood in Bath, most locals will probably tell you to head to the Scallop Shell and you should listen to them! Their seafood is fresh and they do a gluten free fish and chips which is divine!

Their Atlantic prawns were so sweet and plump I could’ve had a double portion to myself🤭 That herby mayo was also divine but couldn’t get the exact recipe out of the chefs😂

Gluten free fish and chips had a great batter and the cod was super flaky! Love their homemade tartare sauce too!

Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Bath!

Also last photo is of my mum and the Picpoul she ordered because I didn’t have a photo of the wine by itself😂

My sauce recipe:
Loads of minced garlic
Peanut or sesame sauce
Oyster sauce
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Sugar
Peppercorn oil/chilli oil
Coriander
Spring onion
A little bit of broth to break up the sauce

This is a memorial post for Wingmans Kilburn - we miss you🫶🏽 @wingmanschicken It’s been 4 months but I’m really feeling it today😭

Hands down the best gluten free wings in London and I will fight anyone on that, thank God that the Soho branch still exists😮‍💨

My go to flavours are Buffalo and Szechuan👌🏽 The blue cheese dip with the buffalo wings would defo be part of my deathrow meal😂

I got this meal with the 2for1 voucher on @uk_neotaste @neotaste.app Defo one of my fave deals I kept coming back to!

If you’ve never had Xi’an style food before, you’ve got to try @11_rougamouk

Their massive menu has so many items but they’re best known for their Rougamo and Noodles! Here’s everything I had:

🥒Smashed cucumber salad (£4.50) - Crunchy, tangy and garlicky, the perfect appetizer!
🍗Special smoked organic chicken half portion (£10) - I have never tried this before but loved it, paired perfectly with their chilli oil!
🫓Special Braised pork Rougamo (£6) - Crispy and stuffed with tender pork, a perfect snack!
🫓Crispy Duck Rougamo (£7) - You can see how packed this one was! This was like a Peking duck wrap in a rougamo, have never seen anything like it before in London!
🍛Special braised pork on rice (£11.80) - Did you see that portion size?? Such value for money and the pork was so soft and melty!
🍜Braised beef with sweet potato noodles (£12.80) - The beef fell apart, so well braised! You can choose whichever noodles you want, defo try their hand pulled noodles too!

This place is perfect for a quick and very affordable meal! The portion sizes are so good, so glad to see that still exists in this economy!

✨GLUTEN FREE SCHNITZEL✨

@von_crumb_london is serving up some of the best gluten free schnitzels I’ve ever had! What a treat since anything breaded is rarely gluten free so this one really hit the spot!

I got the gf chicken schnitzel (the other gluten free one is the aubergine which is also vegan)! As you can tell from the video, it was CRISPY! The perfect crunch, massive portion and works wonderfully with their homemade sauces (don’t knock the beetroot ketchup until you try it)! The sides were also delish and the homemade lemonades had the perfect tartness🍋

There are also some fantastic non-gluten options for those who are blessed with being able to process gluten, I wish they had a gluten free challah sandwich!!

🍗GF Chicken Schnitzel- £17
🍗Regular Chicken Schnitzel - £17
🍟Chips with Parmesan - £4.5
🥦 Charred tenderstem broccoli with Parmesan -£5
