Milano, 2026 by @serendeepity_milano

We are delighted to announce the opening of our basement, where we have moved our entire music collection devoted to DJs/diggers who love to unearth hidden gems among the grooves of vinyl singles.

This newly renovated space will provide users with an ideal environment for in-depth research, featuring dedicated listening stations.

The final touch is the addition of a soundproof listening booth where, upon request, you can listen in total isolation from the outside world.

Special thanks to the vision of @andrea.belosi, the construction skills of @factotum_allestimenti and the brightness of @anonima.luci

We look forward to seeing you there to enjoy the new space! by @serendeepity_milano

Michael J. Blood | Cause & Effect Vol.1 [Peacefrog]

Weaving together a hypnotic narrative that feels both archival and futuristic, Cause & Effect Vol. 1 brings together some of Blood’s rare and hard to find bangers from a variety of his early sold out projects. The collection mixes the pulse of Chicago with the grit and cosmic dreams of Detroit, while never losing sight of the North of England’s sophisticated late-night sleaze. by @serendeepity_milano

All Broken | Audiopathy [Alveromancy]

Before the network became intangible, it lived in a circuit of basements, machinery, letters, and embodied connections. All Broken emerged there, in the mystery of distance and proximity: through sounds collected in fascination, shaped by listening, written in obsession, and perfected through exchange. In an act of creation as sovereign as it was collective, the current moved from node to node, finding a voice in its passage.

All Broken is Fred Exelby with occasional collaboration from Christopher Drost, David Rout and Joe Vizvary.

Songs:
A1 Analogous – Fred Exelby, Analogous Cassette, 1994
A2 Feel the Difference – Fred Exelby, Sleep Disorder Cassette, 1993
B1 Set the Controls – Fred Exelby, David Rout, Joe Vizvary, Analogous Cassette, 1994
B2 Unison – Christopher Drost, Fred Exelby, Analogous Cassette, 1994 by @serendeepity_milano

On Saturday 17 October 2026,
Ruido Sound presents Italian Electronic Soundscapes..

A day dedicated to independent Italian electronic music, conceived and curated by @materia.wrld, bringing together six independent labels (@stagnorecords, @normcore_bnc, @serendeepity_milano, @alzayarecords, @thenakedance and @ipnotica_erotica_rec), their artists and a network of technical partners.

The sound is delivered through two hand-built systems, Blue Zone Hi-Fi and Horns & Bricks.

@bluezonehifi is a hand-built sound system originating in Ala, Trentino, in 2018. Made almost entirely by hand, its five-way rig combines horn-loaded subwoofers with a wide high-frequency section. Its contribution places sound system culture and audio reproduction at the centre of the outdoor programme.

@hornsandbricks is an independent Milan-based collective and two-way sound system established in 2025. Self-built with the support of collectives and nearby communities, it provides the sound in the NAMA Theatre, connecting the project with independent technical craftsmanship.

@relight.studio_ is a Milan-based art and design collective specialising in site-specific light installations, custom visual projects and laser mapping, carries its lighting and visual design during daytime in Parco Lambro and into the night at NAMA, connecting the visual identity of the venue with the daytime programme.

Together, these partners demonstrate how sound systems, lighting, visual production and technical expertise can become active components of a cultural project rather than remaining behind-the-scenes services.

The project celebrates the diversity of Italy’s contemporary electronic music ecosystem while highlighting the expertise, craftsmanship and production culture that contribute to its development.

DAYTIME - Parco Lambro Skate Park, 16:00-01:00.
Free entry with RSVP on DICE.

NIGHT AFTERPARTY - @nuovoanfiteatromartesana ,
23:30-06:00. Tickets on DICE. by @serendeepity_milano

★ JUST LANDED ★

Three essential Shinichi Atobe titles freshly repressed.

Shinichi Atobe | Butterfly Effect
Full-length debut from the elusive Shinichi Atobe, known for an incredible 12” on Chain Reaction almost 15 years ago and never seen or heard from since. Audio mastered and cut by Matt Colton.

Shinichi Atobe | Ongaku 1
Demdike Stare’s DDS label kicks off a new series of limited edition 12”s with the return of Shinichi Atobe, offering a slow evolution of his inimitable deep house, finely balanced with a new found sub-heavy bias while unlocking extra space in the upper registers.

Shinichi Atobe | Ship-Scope
Hugely sought-after techno classic - the precedent to ‘Butterfly Effect’, originally released on Berlin’s legendary Chain reaction and out-of-print for 15 years. ‘Ship Scope’ was Chain Reaction’s penultimate release in 2001 and, with the benefit of hindsight, also one of the legendary label’s most sublime offerings.

Various | Italian Dancefloor Outsiders In The Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno Era 1992 - 2002

Still hot on the heels of compiling the first volume of the Italian Dancefloor Outsiders, and moved by the urge to explore new musical landscapes and discover sounds produced in subsequent years, we decided to continue our quest of tracking an alternative map of what was happen- ing in the Italian electronic music scene.

This second volume takes inspiration from the concept of “Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” (literally “from Midnight to Midday”), a term first used for a now legendary party held in 1992 at Club Imperi- ale in Tirrenia, Tuscany. The owner of the club, Roberto Pannocchia, was eager to attract a different kind of audience to his venue and so decided to extend the closing time until midday, well beyond the Italian law limits. But as Imperiale was a members club, he was allowed to do it, and he already knew that this act would forever shape the Italian club scene.

“Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” was then used to describe long dancing marathons that lasted for the whole weekend, spread across clubs, after-parties and more off-the-grid open air venues but, most of all, became the symbol of an era. The music ranged from slow, pitched-down landscapes to epic techno progressions, filling both feverishly packed big rooms and colourful chillout zones. A parabola of musical move- ments related to specific genres was born, reaching its peak and then fading towards the end of the millenium. by @serendeepity_milano
