Join us Wednesday, November 4 from 6–8pm for a night of Italian wine and food, served right here on the Mattina patio. We’re teaming up with our friends at Lucky’s Puccias, whose chef Lucky brings his Italian roots to every course, for a four-course pairing dinner.

Our special guest, Jayce from Serendipity Wines, will walk us through each pour and the story behind every pairing.

Best of all, proceeds benefit Run for the Water.

Only 20 tickets available. Grab yours at the link in our bio. by @serendipitywines

Last week we welcomed six wine professionals from across the United States: buyers, sommeliers, marketers and wine writers travelled to be with us from New York, Texas, Washington DC and the Pacific coast.

Their visit was part of the European Wine Treasures programme connecting some of America’s best wine voices with the heart of our wine region.

This immersive study trip kicked off among Raíces Ibéricas’ old vines at Finca El Nogal vineyards, before diving into Jumilla’s story at the Consejo Regulador.

From there, it was one standout stop after another: Bodegas Bleda, Bodegas Luzón, Ego Bodegas, Casa de la Ermita, Bodegas Olivares, Dobledepérez Microbodega, Bodegas Casa Castillo and Finca Monastasia, each with its own wines, its own welcome and its own story to tell all. In between, there was plenty of Jumilla itself to soak up: a hike up to the Castillo de Jumilla, churro breakfast by the market, and long, lively lunches and dinners hosted by the wineries themselves.

Old vines, warm hospitality and great wines, trips like this showcase Jumilla at its most authentic self. Thank you to our wonderful guests for coming to discover and share in such a great week, and to every winery that opened its doors and gave them such a warm welcome!

Check back soon to find out what our guests discovered about Jumilla during their stay!

Harvest in our vineyards has come to an end, but the winery is still in full motion: tanks, pumps, hoses and our team at work. 💪

All the signs are there for a vintage to remember.🥂 by @serendipitywines

New to the portfolio: Alexakis Winery Assyrtiko 🇬🇷 We're thrilled to welcome this gorgeous Cretan white into Serendipity's lineup, straight from one of the island's most storied producers. Founded in the early 1970s by enologist Stelios Alexakis, the winery is now helmed by his sons Lazaros and Apostolos, and remains one of Crete's largest and most respected privately-owned estates — with decades of deep relationships with the island's best growers to show for it.

In the glass, this 2025 Assyrtiko is both refreshing and serious: flinty, citrus-zest notes with a subtle smoky edge, all wrapped around a lean, vibrant acidity that melts into a creamy body with elegant biscuit undertones. It's already turning heads too, earning 91 points from Wine Advocate.

If you love the tension and minerality of great Santorini Assyrtiko, this Cretan expression deserves a spot on your list. Now available in Texas — reach out to your Serendipity rep to bring it in. 🌿

Some wines let the grape do the talking.

Spiritus Terrae Trebbiano is a pure expression of Abruzzo, crafted from 100% Trebbiano with spontaneous fermentation to preserve the variety's authentic character. Expect delicate aromas of white flowers and fresh fruit, followed by a soft, elegant palate that's fresh, harmonious, and made for the table.

Produced by Cantina Orsogna (a cooperative of growers committed to organic and biodynamic farming in the shadow of Majella National Park) this is a wine that celebrates both native Italian varieties and the land they call home.

Pair it with seafood, white meats, or light appetizers and let Abruzzo speak for itself. 🇮🇹
