Instagram says it's been over 100 weeks since my last SVT post. My calendar says it's been over a month since I saw them. My Twitter, YouTube & Spotify say it's been 5 minutes since I spoke about or heard their songs. But mentally I am still living in denial that I saw my boys (13-2) in the Philippines on Jan 18th 2025.

Let's start by saying PH Carats deserve the reputation they get. For someone so nervous, I made so many friends and found some incredible concert partners, who made it so special for me: @liahbasbas @purdybarbb @leau.amethyst @cheskai_ @rroxhui @kimyr13 @dy.vriaa @mirjanjulia Thank you for making me feel so loved in a whole unknown city, country.

(Missed you Cotton & Na, next concert neither of you have a choice)

But also - BANA IS A REAL PERSON OHMYGOD! 10 years of friendship and so many online interactions, but seeing her in person made me tear up. @banana_anana_nana Banana <3 thank you for making this happen. Even if we met for a total of 5 minutes, just knowing you were around made me feel so happy.

Now - The Boys.

Hoshi & Dino are *meant* for the stage. Mingyu, Wonwoo and Woozi look etheral in person. Minghao voice with that little lit. Seungkwan needs to be wrapped up in bubble wrap. Vernon bald egg but MY EGG. Jeonghan needs to be back idc idc. Joshua switches from gentlemen to manic in seconds and I love it. DK turned me into a part of the Cuties Gathering

Also announcement: I'm getting married to Seungcheol.
Another Announcement: I missed Jun so fucking much.

Seventeen has always been home to me. So this is was homecoming.

In true Tanvi fashion, I'm choosing to post only ONE post this year (but with two slides). Kinda because I have a lot to say, but can't find the words to highlight everything that's happened without bursting into tears of "ohmygod".

2023, what a year you've been. I've travelled more than I have ever, been involved in over 15 projects and many music videos, made friends, lost friends, pseudo-adopted a cat, moved in (for real) with my best friend, went on dates, got ghosted, joined a dating app, deleted said dating app, drank more coffee than I could handle, received so much cake, fought for my artists, fought with my artists, spiralled out of control and got myself back together (it is a thin thread)

(Slide 1) I ALSO WENT TO KOREA???? My first international live show. I can't believe this actually happened. Been a K-pop fan for over 10 years and it manifested with a work trip that involved me meeting actual k-pop artists and exploring the city that I only dreamt of in the past.

(Slide 2) I ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED IN MY FIRST TOUR????? Can't believe I got to do all this in just a little under two years in this industry. It's a learning experience and as bittersweet as the process has been, I am in awe of what I have achieved.

I haven't even properly comprehended that 2023 started and now is over, but here we are.

To those friends I've made, I'm glad I met you. To those friends who moved on, I hope you're well. To the strangers and acquaintances who see me - I hope you always find a pretty flower in your pocket.

And to those who love me - I'll love you more in 2024.

Resolution for next year: travel more, take more videos and love harder. Also maybe use IG less as a museum of special moments and instead, a scrapbook of memories? taken in Namsan Tower Seoul by @serendipptea

In the best case of; "if I don't post it, it never happened and it never got over" - it's been a month since I saw my favourite boys in my (favourite) city.

It was such a long wait and obviously when @milksop_drops and @choigodna suggested VIP+Soundcheck, I had to instantly plan my wedding with Choi Seungcheol. I met some incredible online friends, hung out with the two best girls and roomed with my forever-and-only concert partner and drank SO MUCH BUBBLE TEA and almost stole a photocard (almost).

It still feels like a fever dream, because I saw all 13 boys singing the songs that had kept me sane through some very personal battles. All Thirteen.

Singapore, you've always made me happy; I'll come back to you soon.
Seventeen, you've always made me happy; I will work with you soon.

nearly five months too late, but I had to mentally prepare myself for this post, so here we go

Bangkok, November 23rd 2019

I was one of the many many girls (and boys!) dressed in rose quartz & serenity bonding over fan merch, lightsticks, problematic fansites, lyrics and fanchants that I still can't do. We all waited in line, in groups, alone - a wait well over 4 hours

but a wait that was worth it

Right from when my boys jumped on stage, every moment was real and raw. I lost my voice, lost some really pretty/expensive merch, got hit by lightsticks, got stamped by girls dancing in heels but it was worth it. I laughed, I cried, I sang and I screamed, emotions dancing to the beats. (Also, I chose @saythename_17 over @superjunior Same night, same area, same time. This has to count for something)

It's a miracle I even got tickets! But that's a story for another time. Shout out to @milksop_drops for being the best concert partner. Shout out to the girl at the airport who recognized my SVT photocard and fangirled with me till we had to part ways.

I'll do it all over again and I'll do it soon enough

Throwback to SMTown, April 6th, 2018

Looking back on this day, I don't know what still sticks out to me the most? the fandom representatives who were making sure we all were safe and hydrated (honestly worst event management ever!) or the many girls who we befriended because when SM fandoms meet it's always a battle of who is crazier ( ELFs, it's ELFs don't bother arguing)

But seeing my idiots up close? I don't think I will ever be able to recreate that in my head. It still feels like a fever dream, a reality in a parallel universe. SJ @superjunior , I love you so much and more each year(grudgingly)

Eunhyuk- thank you for noticing me, the Indian ELF who had no idea that she would be noticed. Thank you for singing Miracle to me. It's a song I will never forget.

Shindong- My first concert in the world, my first K-pop concert in the world - and you were the first idol to have ever noticed me. You saw my banner and laughed at me screaming, sang a few words and sent a finger heart.
If Eva never captured it, I don't think I would have believed it ever happened
