Peg laterals are a less common dental condition in which the upper lateral incisors develop smaller than usual, often appearing narrow, pointed, or cone-shaped. The good news? A beautiful, balanced smile is possible! As you can see with our beautiful patient, with the right cosmetic dental treatment, we can enhance the shape and proportions of these teeth to create a natural looking, confident smile. Because every smile deserves to shine!! 🦷😁 #mckinneydentist #CosmeticDentistry #SmileTransformation #ConfidentSmile #DentalEsthetics by @serenedentistry

❌ “They ruin your teeth.”

Before the veneers… hiding the smile.
After the veneers… can’t stop smiling. 😁✨

A custom smile makeover that enhanced shape, color, and symmetry while keeping everything looking natural.

Small change. Big confidence boost. 🦷

🦷 When Is a Dental Deep Cleaning Needed?

A regular cleaning keeps your smile fresh—but sometimes your gums need a little extra care. A deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) may be recommended if you have:

✔️ Bleeding or swollen gums
✔️ Persistent bad breath
✔️ Gum recession or tooth sensitivity
✔️ Tartar buildup below the gumline
✔️ Early signs of gum disease

Deep cleanings remove plaque and bacteria from beneath the gums, helping prevent infection and protect your teeth long-term. The sooner it’s treated, the easier it is to manage!

✨ If you’ve noticed any of these signs, it may be time to schedule a dental checkup. Your gums will thank you! taken in McKinney, Texas by @serenedentistry
