Some people start their morning with skincare… I get a horse tongue bath. 😂🐴💦 Apparently my hands needed a thorough cleaning before chores!

We’re all a little tired after the time change, but there’s always energy for slobbery kisses. 🥰 Who else has animals with absolutely no concept of personal space? 🙋‍♀️

Grey skies, questionable dance moves, and an emotional support flock with ZERO respect for personal space. 😂🪿 Apparently, you’re part of the flock now too—those close-ups weren’t optional!

This is Flap Dancing for Second Chances: a little daily silliness with the rescue animals who give me a reason to smile, whatever the weather. 💛

Who stole the show today—the geese or the ducks? And did our Muscovy deserve a solo? 😂👇

You’ve seen the flap… now meet the clop! 🐴😂 A new kind of morning release at Serenity!

After breakfast, the horses wait for their friends until I open the gate for pasture time. Watching them head out together is one of my favorite parts of the morning. Full bellies, good company, and another day of second chances. 💚

Should the horses get their own regular release videos, too? 👀🐴

Dad went to work early, so his side of the bed has been claimed by the snuggle committee. 🐾😂

It’s Monday, my brain is still buffering, and I’m trying to drink my coffee while everyone takes turns demanding scratches. Honestly… there are worse ways to start the week. ☕❤️

Anyone else outnumbered before their first cup? 🙋‍♀️

A pocketful of sunshine… and a yard full of reasons to be thankful. ☀️🪿🧡

Hello, November! We’re dancing into our thankful era with flapping wings, honking backup singers, and a flock that takes breakfast MUCH more seriously than my choreography. 😂

This Serenity Sunday, I’m grateful for these second chances—and for every one of you helping us give them. These animals fill my days with purpose, laughter, and a little chaos. Sharing that joy with you makes it even sweeter. 💛

What’s one thing you’re thankful for as we welcome November? 🍂

the baby is finally drinking!

he had a syringe filled with water and electrolytes first and then had 2 syringes of his milk afterwards.

this is really encouraging so stay tuned for more updates and the announcement for his name!

Good morning, and happy first Serenity Sunday of November! 🌅🍂💛

Mist over the pasture, sunrise slowly breaking through, and a new month unfolding before us… a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to see the whole path to take the next step.

If you’re carrying a lot this morning, take a slow breath. Let your shoulders drop. Give yourself a little of the kindness you so freely give everyone else. You deserve moments of peace, too. 🤍

Let’s share a little serenity today! Find a moment that makes you pause—a foggy sunrise, an animal by your side, or a quiet cup of coffee—and post a photo or video. Tag us at Serenity in the Cypress Trees Farm and Sanctuary and use #serenitysunday so we can enjoy your moment with you.

What’s bringing you peace this morning? 🌿
