Hello! It’s @serrennityyy , I wanted to come here and say this will be my dance account now. Also a debrief of my journey through dance.
-
I first started dance at 9/10. I started “shuffling” with my Dad in our living room. I would continuously shuffle and have dance battles with my dad too see who was better. After the years, I had seen my friend hip-hop dancing. Though I wasn’t familiar with the different styles, I fell in love with it. I was about 13/14 and had joined @angelo_onpoint ! I was not familiar with anything and had to start from scratch. But was determined to practice hard and to be seen. Though sometimes, I felt my self struggling a lot with everything. Coming down to spotting,personality,technique. It sounds like a lot but I was motivated by my coach when she had gave me compliments for my performance. I was in the gym 24/7 practicing, and practicing. I was not the most flexible, nor even having a split. But I trained hard and eventually got it. Sooner or later, I had found out about my highschool team. And ever since, I had looked up to all of the girls on the team. Especially 2022 Captain and 2023 Captain. When I saw them on the stage as well on field, I wanted to dance like them. My love for dance is like no other. Even after the soreness,tiredness, and sappy emotions. My love still remains the same. This account will have my journey of trying out for my highschool team, and becoming a better dancer and person in general. by @serenitylovesdance
