Decided to end the summer by finally sharing my own house take on Aretha Franklin’s “Pitiful” 😄
I grew up listening to some of Aretha’s songs, and getting to revisit this song and put my own spin on it felt like a special one to release at this time.
Track is available for free download on Souncloud.

Serge (GR) returns to PhonicHouse1 with French Professor EP, a tight 2-track release built around warm house grooves, rolling rhythms, and understated late-night energy. Two classy cuts that keep things deep, hypnotic, and effortlessly dancefloor-ready.

Here I am entering the final chapter of my 20s and I couldn’t ask for a better way for it.
To be able to achieve such milestones in all my endeavors, I’m finally able to say that I am where I want to be in life, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me. by @serge__gr

I’ve been going to @aegisfestival_ since their first edition back in 2023 , haven’t missed a year since.
And to take part in this year’s lineup, especially as one of the open call winners, marks a huge milestone for me and the music I make.
What highlights the road to the festival was meeting and getting to know most of the people who are driving our local scene , and to say that they’re the most loving and interesting people I’ve met so far this year would be an understatement.
I can’t wait to finally be able to openly showcase the music that is driving me today, and I can’t thank them enough for giving us the opportunity to not be restricted to specific genres like we as Artists are usually forced to.

June 2026 served me so well.
Had the chance to spin some of my favorite music while simultaneously meeting a bunch of the best people I came across so far.
July is my favorite month of the year, and the schedule for this one is already looking pretty sharp!
Let me catch you on the next one 🫵🏻❤️🔥 taken in Beirut, Lebanon by @serge__gr

These slides don’t even cover a quarter of the music I’ve made this spring, but I’m happy to finally share some snippets of it . A bunch are collabs with incredible regional artists that I admire , and the rest will be originals , multi genre crafts that hopefully each of them will share a little place in your mind and heart.
So Let’s see, which one you liked the most? taken in Beirut, Lebanon by @serge__gr

Serge takes us deep into the smoke-filled corridors of The Jazz Club EP. This focused two-tracker leans heavily into dub-influenced textures, stripping back the glitz to find the soul in the repetition. It’s a masterclass in “less is more,” designed for the late-night hours when the dancefloor becomes a hazy, rhythmic ritual waving together subtle, jazz-inflected chords with a driving, dubby bassline that feels like a heartbeat. It’s sophisticated, immersive, and carries a weight that lingers long after the needle drops.

To end your week , I’ve uploaded my last set from @thesoundsofjade ‘s invite series at one of my all time favorite venues @the.grandfactory .
February was a calm month where I had the chance to work on more music, with label releases , more slots and all nighters coming in March.
Hope you enjoy this one! And see you on the dance floor soon 🪩
