Some years made me stronger, others made me softer. Some taught me to hold on, others to let go. Iโ€™ve grown, fallen, healed, and started over. Different chapters. Different versions. One beautiful, imperfect journey. And if I could tell every version of me one thing, it would be: Iโ€™m so proud of you for making it this far. You had no idea how much life would change you, but you never stopped becoming. โค๏ธ by @sergemayel

โ€Behind every beautiful wedding is a team that makes it happen. ๐Ÿค Different personalities, endless laughter, a little chaos, and a whole lot of passion! Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, your patience, and for always being there, no matter what. More than just a team, youโ€™re my family, and I couldnโ€™t imagine this journey without you. So grateful for each one of you. by @sergemayel

Today, on World Ostomy Day, Iโ€™m sharing a chapter of my journey I never imagined would become part of my story. ๐Ÿ’œ After years of living with Crohnโ€™s disease, my ostomy taught me that sometimes accepting a different life is what allows you to truly start living again. Today, I had the pleasure of sharing my journey during the Ostomy Awareness Day organized by HDF & USJ . Turning my experience into awareness, conversation, and hopefully a little hope for someone who needs it. ๐Ÿค @medsim.fm.usj @facultedemedecine.usj @hdf.lb To every ostomate: your bag does not define you, and life does not stop here. Different body. Same me. Still living. Still creating. Still grateful. ๐Ÿ’œ by @sergemayel

One month since surgery. ๐Ÿค The past two days have been especially hard, with intense body pain and another flare-up. But this weekend was also a milestone. My first official weekend going out, celebrating, and trying to enjoy life again after surgery. Iโ€™m still learning to live with my ostomy bag and this new version of my body, with three more months ahead before the next step of this journey. Even through the pain, I made it out to celebrate some very special people. And that felt like a little win. ๐Ÿค Taking it one day at a time. After almost 10 years of fighting Crohnโ€™s disease, I finally made one of the hardest decisions of my life: colostomy surgery. Recovery hasnโ€™t been easy. Itโ€™s been physically and mentally challenging. Learning to live with a stoma, adapting to a colostomy bag, and accepting a body that suddenly feels different. But every day is one step closer to a better life. This isnโ€™t the end of my story, itโ€™s the beginning of a new one. โค๏ธ by @sergemayel
