After making the two postcards yesterday, I really got into the groove and painted a few more today. It felt so good…and I wish I hadn’t waited a year to make some

Took the time today to make a few postcards. It has been a year since I purposely made some postcards just for the sake of making postcards. 🧡

I started keeping track of all the mail I sent this year after I saw the tracking book @mustardandpicklespost used. I really like seeing what I send and to whom. At the beginning of the year I was keeping track as to when the postcards were received, but that got to be too difficult of a task. Tracking book one is complete and now on to book two! by @serokittyokc

The ring-necked snake is so beautiful! Their colors are so vibrant! I found him last weekend in our yard. They are totally harmless and are a great addition to your backyard ecosystem. Of course, you don’t have to pick it up, but I needed to move it so @garthebeerboss could finish mowing.

Even as an “empty nester”, one must still visit a pumpkin patch…even if it is only to say hello to the donkey by @serokittyokc

SEPTEMBER CIRCLE PROJECT!!

I find that I really enjoy collecting bits of paper/circles for each day of year!

Here is the spiel about my year long project…

I decided to do something new. I wanted to take a piece of each day this year and save it. I had seen a few people post similar things at the end of 2025, but not exactly what I wanted to do. On January 1st, I pulled out my circle punches and a notebook I had gotten at @chirpsandcheers …and my project began. :) I am saving bits of paper…random things I find, food packages, pieces of mail, etc…and punching little circles. We shall see what the notebook looks like at the end of the year!!
