POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This sabbatical was brought to you by a new job & and a move to London 🕺

Amongst these changes there was a conscious decision made to be fully present through the process of change, so the screen time dropped and I have felt all the better for it!

There are still some mixes from @loft.stores to drop (so sorry to those who came down to spin some tunes, editing is on my agenda), but I’m jumping on here to share something fun I’m getting amongst next week!

A big shoutout to @down_to_funk_ for inviting me to spin some tunes at @brixtonjamm next week! They have been hosting some wicked events over the last set of years, and they’ve really gone big for this one!

Funk, Soul and Disco is going to be out in full force next Saturday 🪩

Head over to @down_to_funk_ ‘s page and grab your 🎟️ by @serotonin_sessions

Loft Recordings #011

ADAM NUNN
@adamnunndj

Adam is a Cambridge-based DJ and co-founder of DNA (@dancenotattitude_ ), an event built around underground electronic music.

After launching a sold-out debut event at The Lab in February, followed by a successful Spring edition in May, the next chapter continues with DNA // 19 September.

Inspired by house and techno since the early 2010s, his sound blends minimal, funky and melodic house & techno, focusing on groove, energy and carefully selected records over fleeting trends.

Adam is excited to return to Hifields Festival this year, having been fortunate enough to play the festival over the last five years.

Whether your choice is watching the full set on YouTube or listening back via Soundcloud, we’ve got you covered! 🧠 by @serotonin_sessions

JARD
@jard_uk

JARD is a 26 year old DJ, producer and record executive from Cambridge. Now based in London, he’s earned a reputation for uncompromising selections and sets built for those who know. As Label Manager for MAISON, GROOVIN and Tribute Records, he’s deeply embedded in the UK dance music scene, helping to find, shape and champion forward-thinking releases.

Rooted in house, trance and UK garage, his approach is driven by an obsession with digging deeper than the obvious. After years spent searching for the most eclectic cuts, obscure records and unreleased gems, every set is packed with exclusives, leftfield finds and unexpected moments. Rather than relying on the biggest tracks of the moment, he thrives on introducing crowds to records they didn’t know they needed, leaving a feeling of discovery and a pocket full of IDs to hunt for.

All the flowers to @jacfest_promotions & @mrjac_official for last weekend!

A real privilege to be a part of something of such scale in the local area. For anyone that’s tried, either successfully or unsuccessfully, to host an event in Cambridge you know the level of challenge that comes with it. Jacfest combined with perfect summer weather was an absolute treat. Always made better when you throw down a peach of a set. When it’s flowing, it’s flowing!

Roll on 2027 😏🕺

New @loft.stores set inbound this Thursday, trust me when I say you’re in for a treat! by @serotonin_sessions

LOFT Recordings #009

SIMO
@simogram45

Although relatively new to the scene, SIMO has had a busy first year. From Boiler Room-style events with MAUD HAUS to pop-up events across the local area, he’s quickly built a reputation for his thoughtful selections and infectious energy behind the decks.

His own project, SOLIS, blends Afro, Funky and Disco House and has already earned a monthly residency at Nightjars in Bury St Edmunds.

For this recording, SIMO heads in a slightly different direction. Deep house is a sound that has long inspired his approach to DJing, but one he rarely gets the opportunity to explore for an extended period in his usual sets. This mix gives him the space to do exactly that, delivering a rolling journey through the deeper side of house music.

For the first time, this LOFT Recording is now available to enjoy in full on YouTube, with the complete audio archive continuing on SoundCloud.

Loft Recordings #008

Serotonin 🧠

We’ve not been shouting about these recordings as much as we probably should have recently. Life has had a habit of getting in the way.

What hasn’t changed is the reason for making them.

This series exists to shine a light on the local selectors who spend hours searching for records, refining their sound and sharing music simply for the love of it.

The next batch of recordings are in the diary, so ring in a fresh set of selectors, we see the return of Will aka Serotonin!

With the good fortune of being able to feature a bit more frequently within @loft.stores recordings, it leaves Will the space to explore different sounds and styles! From the opening tracks, groove takes centre stage, paving the way for a set brimming with warmth, soul and feel-good energy. We a great time getting stuck into this one!

Loft Recordings #007

@easyeasylemonlemon

He is a Cambridge-based electronic music producer and DJ blending UK garage, classic house, African rhythms, French dance music and folktronica into a sound that’s both playful and deeply textured.

Starting out as a producer in 2020 before developing as a DJ while at university, easyeasylemonlemon spent years isolated, building an expansive musical world — digging across genres, refining a distinct sonic identity, and independently releasing three albums of original material.

Late 2025 marked their live debut with a sold-out headline show at Ellimatta, launching a run of live performances that continues to build momentum through 2026. With festival appearances including Strawberry Fair and the release of the new album SARD/CARNALIEN on 5th of June, easyeasylemonlemon is quickly emerging as one of Cambridge’s most distinctive new electronic acts!

Greedy G
@greedy_g_ol_boi

Greedy G has been actively amongst the Cambridgeshire & London rave and soul scenes for the last set of years. Spinning since the age of 12 as well as producing and writing his on own music, his eclectic taste of soul, funk, garage, jungle, and old school rave classics from the summer of love days leaves space for his sets to go in any direction!

As the head honcho of @savagestreetsrecords & @beggars_ea he has been working hard to put his stamp on the local scene through a mix of events and sounds.

We had a blast taking in his set at @loft.stores and now you can too! Listen back to his full set on our Soundcloud 🧠 by @serotonin_sessions

The power of music, exercise, and people 🧠

A magical set of days indulging in things that are some of the most important elements in my life.

After battling through through illness during our first Hyrox together, Dave and I teamed up again in full health to post a time of 1:07.24. A beautiful shared experience that topped off months of hard work. There is nothing like being in the thick of it and pushing yourself as far as you can alongside a close friend. A recovery and reflection period is inbound before I set the lofty goal of tackling one by myself!

To top things off, on Saturday I had the pleasure of getting stuck into my first Brixton Disco Festival. It lived up to expectations and some! When I first started running events, I wanted to create a space where good people, regardless of age or background came together to enjoy good music and make new connections, Saturday embodied just that and made me feel right a home.

Recently, I made the decision to leave the teaching profession after 10 years to keep moving towards an aspirational of helping as many people as possible multiple mediums. At the end of the weekend, despite the risk leaving stability comes with, I was filled with optimism that I made the right choice.

Big love to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting this week, here’s to more special moments ❤️ by @serotonin_sessions

Last Orders
@jordan.fa11on

Exeter/Bristol based DJ Last Orders treated us to a heavy house and Garage for us at The Loft! Having grown up just outside of Cambridge, he got into music at a young age through his Dad who used to be a DJ in the late 80s and 90s. When he moved to Exeter, he got heavily involved in the music scene around the city and in Bristol.

Whilst you will mostly catch him behind the decks in Exeter and Bristol, fate would have it that we managed to catch him back home in Cambridge just in time, and what a treat it was!
