Portrait by Dan Nelson using his M10-R black paint with the 50mm Summilix, reissue. Although I prefer to be behind the camera instead of in front of the lens, Dan did a great job capturing the moment. by @serranowe

- People and their Places: the way of seeing. Having shared this photo as a Story I decided to Post it with a bit of a backstory; as photographers we each visualize uniquely, as we interpret our surroundings. Working with lenses that resonate with our vision helps us create photographs as we mentally see them, and they can be used with the necessary cameras of our choosing. Lastly, incident light meters go a long way to discern the nuances of light and how best to expose our subjects, although they appear the same they are different.

- San Francisco, CA - Christmas 2025. “Christmas Season” is my favorite time of the year”, giant decorated Christmas tree and Ice Skating in Union, must see Gingerbread house in The Fairmont Hotel, and the warmth of the Holidays on a cold San Francisco day.
