Out on Sunday, October 11, New Moon.
‘NO MORE WAR’ EP.

Bandcamp & Soundcloud.

Self-released, all proceeds will go to the Gaza Skate Team @gaza_skate_team fundraising campaign.

Not much to say really. Buy a track, buy the EP, and help bring joy to our brothers and sisters living in a fucking nightmare. It’s not much but I’m trying to do as much as I can to put my skills and craft to good use. Everyday the motherland yells my name.

Next up big QA with @sertavednb , who’s track Caudex brings atmospheric 170bpm grooves to the VA. Sertave has a plethora of tracks out on labels like Aotearoa’s very own @rooster_recs and Italy’s Samsara Beats + more. He grew up on Wairoa charged bass and takes inspiration from the likes of @akceptdub , @olliecern, headlandbeats Known for his impeccable mixdowns and masters (check out his track Shul!) Sertave has an array of tunes in the pipeline, but first take some words from him!

This interview is a long one and features some excellent mix down and mastering tips from Sertave, Slumcuts.net is where you’ll find the full interview and said nuggets of gold! Chur #dnb #undergroundmusicscene #aotearoamusic #140bpm #bassmusic by @sertavednb

Stacking 4 tracks in this post (because the release is tomorrow!) #1 Kalintura by Guzzy, bringing more 160 heat. #2 Blanqui’s Prison by Nevermind offers percussive chaos. #3 Heaven by Invalid ID takes you back to a familiar space and finally, #4 Caudex by Sertave puts you back into the deep end with driving bass and expansive atmosphere. Damn flavourful. by @sertavednb

With tight, clean production and an impeccable ear for detail and atmosphere, @sertavednb has developed a style that feels both refined and distinctive. The Ōtautahi (Christchurch), NZ native crafts a technical, minimalist aesthetic while maintaining a darkly ethereal sonic atmosphere, driven by tight percussion, rolling basslines, and weighty sound design, with plenty of detail for the curious listener.

His newest 2-track release on Samsara finds him working within Halftime and Autonomic-adjacent territory. Across its 10:22 runtime, the release evolves and shifts, taking the listener on a deep, introspective journey.

Absolutely loved playing the Native Stage at The Vortex this Easter on the Boom Candy rig, absolute magic. Big love to the 5am sunrise crew who rolled through and brought the energy 🌄

That setup tucked away in the native bush of Inangahua… seriously next level. Couldn’t have asked for a dreamier dancefloor.

Big ups to @intothevortex.nz
