POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey there! Welcome to Servant Studios Weddings! I’m Micah, the guy behind the camera. I’m all about capturing real moments, big laughs, happy tears, and everything in between. Your love story deserves to be told in a way that feels you — fun, natural, and unforgettable. Let’s make some magic! ✨🙌🏽❤️ by @servantweddings

Some kisses you feel from across the rooftop.
Golden hour over College Park, a veil catching the last of the light, and two people who forgot anyone was watching. This is the kind of moment you don’t pose — you just wait for it, and hold your breath when it comes.
Send this to the one you’d stand on a rooftop with.

The pearls were the dog’s idea.
Bow tie, pearl leash, front-row seat — some family members don’t get asked, they just show up in formalwear and steal the whole day. A summer wedding on the greens at Fredericksburg Country Club.
Tag the one who’d be in your photos whether you planned it or not.

Nervous in photos? That’s not a problem - it’s the whole reason to hire carefully.

Some of my favorite couples told me up front: we’re awkward, we hate posing, don’t make us model.

Good.

You don’t have to perform your love for me to catch it. A little direction, then I get out of the way and let you two just be (that’s where the real moments live).

Northern Virginia, DC, and beyond, for couples who’d rather feel it than pose it.

Send this to the one who hates being in front of the camera. You know exactly who.

How much can you tell of a story while only sharing part of it?

Each couple is unique and has a collective essence. This wedding in particular, I wanted to focus on how close the couple was and how important being physically near to each other was to each of their peace at the wedding. These photos are some of my favorite ever, because they show everything you need to know about the couple without even seeing their faces together.

The city stopped. She didn’t.
These are the frames I chase: not simply a hundred pretty pictures, but the ones that’ll still feel like her ten years from now.

2027 dates are opening — DM me if this is your story.

A vault built to guard valuables, holding the most valuable thing in it that day — two people who just promised to keep each other safe. Tell me: what do you want your photos to feel like in twenty years?

It can be easy to get so caught up in all of the moving parts of a wedding; our goal @servantweddings is to make sure we always take time to display and nurture the ART of photography as much as the profession of photography.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them!

@servantweddings we know you can only perform to your level of preparation! We prepare for weddings in the same way football coaches prepare for the big game - watching film, practice reps, and having a fluid game plan. This is how our practice translated into the final results taken at a beautiful wedding @arborhaven in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
