Not all boho placement is created equal. ✨One question I get a lot is why I don’t add boho curls in the very bottom rows near the nape.Here’s why:💛 Those curls are the first to rub against your neck, shirts, hoodies, and jackets, so they tangle much faster.💛 I place the curls more toward the middle and ends of the braids, where they stay prettier longer and create a more balanced, lightweight look.💛 It also helps avoid one heavy section of curls sitting in the middle of the hairstyle.Every placement is intentional—it’s not just about how your braids look on day one, but how they’ll wear throughout your style.Did you know curl placement makes this much of a difference? POV: You’re braiding a preteen’s hair and trying to make conversation…Me: “Have you ever seen Cruella?”Her: “Who’s Cruella?” 😭At that point, I just focused on these parts because I realized I was braiding someone born in a completely different era. 😂Being a ’90s kid was different.
