Workshop team bike in for a rear swing arm strip, clean and fresh bearings after a season of battering Enduro stages.

The dirt gets everywhere, mixes with the grease and starts to grind away at the frame and components.

This is why it is so important to clean your bike and carry out suitable maintenance to protect your bike and keep it running well.

Gear cable was overdue replacement as well!

That’s it for the @malvernsclassic posts.

Final gratuitous ‘look at me’ photo with a post-Enduro dusty look!

Hard graft, finished it, enjoyed it. Now looking forward to the next challenge and getting prepped for the 2027 season.

Thanks to:

@dirtyrides_apparel for the shop team jersey.
@marinbikes for the ride.
@stcteamwear for the team caps.
@armyenduromtb for the training and awesome Army Cycle Enduro Series.
@agc_mtb_team for the support and admin.
@mtb_fit_academy for the training programme.

Time for a break - The workshop is now closed for Summer adventures, @malvernsclassic and Racing!

Thank you to all of our customers who have trusted this little work shop (with big ideas) with their treasured bikes.
The workshop is stocking on up lots of spares over the break and we hope to come back with plenty of new goodies and ideas from The Malverns Classic.

Workshop diary remains busy and we are taking bookings from September for servicing work, repairs and upgrades.

We also make a half decent coffee so drop us a message and pop in to talk bikes, tools and coffee over a brew.

Get out and ride!

Fresh delivery from @gearmechhanger

We have had a few broken mech hangers in the workshop recently and this has highlighted the need to carry a spare with you when out on a big ride.

We would even recommend carrying a spare on short rides or trips to the bike park.

With so many different shapes / types of hangers, it is not a guarantee that you can get hold of a spare when you need one urgently.

Visit Gearmech Hanger to order your spare or ask us to get you one when you have your bike in our workshop.

Don’t let a broken mech hanger ruin your day! by @session_cycles

Shifters cleaned out. Fresh cables and adjustments made. Gears working correctly.

DISCLAIMER. No spiders or technicians were hurt in the servicing of this bicycle. by @session_cycles

Sometimes you just have to get out of the workshop and ride!

A great day of pre-fixture training with the @armyenduromtb coaches before race day tomorrow!

Lessons learned and skills adjusted. A huge thanks to @sam.mtbfitacademy for the training programme that has already provided increased fitness to help build my skill on the hill!

Also thanks to @agc_mtb_team sponsor @fenwicksbike - their awesome products will no doubt be needed after a dirty day racing tomorrow!

Normal workshop routine will return on Thursday!

It’s getting serious!

After I set my goal to get back into racing this year I have tried to drag my aged, broken carcass back to the gym and get into some sort of shape.

A recent post half term break delivery from @combatfuel tells me that I am awesome and so far the only thing I have lifted is a selection of bike tools and the box this delivery came in.

I can only imagine how awesome I could be If I managed to keep to a training programme and got some decent hours on the bike in.

New me starts tomorrow! by @session_cycles
