Rootsbase at Fusion Festival is a place that feels like coming home ❤️

A big shout out to @dandelion_soundsystem and @jah.chalice for providing this beast of a soundsystem 🔊🔊🔊

This year was crazy with 2 evacuations and insane heat. But we rocked this together as a family again. So big up to everyone involved! 🥰
@sis___d, @sirensisters_soundsystem, @moonbase.soundsystem, @dalarna_dubz, @roots.descendents and so many more to mention.

I felt really honoured I got to share the stage with the incredible @wends.mc, @guru_pope_ and @piyazawa. Thank you guys for creating something special with me. This set holds a special place in my heart ❤️

KRACHPARADE 2026!

What a weekend! Wicked session on friday and then the biggest sound protest Munich has ever seen on saturday 🔥🔊

Krachparade is a protest for more spaces for subculture, more spaces to play loud music in the city and express ourselves freely. At the same time it stands against the skyrocketing rents in Germany's most expensive city. We oppose real estate speculation and the sellout of OUR city.

This city belongs to all of us - and this weekend we showed munich how colorful, diverse and loud we can be.

A massive shout out to the whole crew and @dubrise.soundsystem for bringing the sound to the streets! ❤️

We’re back for the new season! On October 9th we welcome a special link-up: @tiberias.towa (Verona 🇮🇹) and @tomspirals (Glasgow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿) 
They first crossed paths in a session up in the Italian mountains in 2015. A link was built, dubplates were cut. Years later, they reunited at a festival, and the connection picked up right where it left off. That reunion turned into an EP together, “Flex Like Water” (PureNiceness Records). 
Since then: more sessions, more time together, more chemistry refined. More tunes followed, “Keep it Together” and “Dub Club”, and in 2026 the long-awaited dubplate “Iron Sharpens Iron”, launching Tiberias Towa Records. Expect Tiberias’ digital style meeting Tom’s versatile flows and conscious lyrics 🔊 
@dubrise.soundsystem and @setambessa hold it down as always, tuff selections and positive vibrations all night.

Hills Of Eden, what a joy 💖
When @setambessa and @sis___d asked if we wanted to string up the sound for a full day at Hills of Eden, we never imagined it would become such a memorable weekend.
Not just playing, but hanging out with the likes of @itesvibration @wends.mc and @indra_mc_ couldn’t have been more fun!

Give thanks to @hillsofeden_festival & @dreadlionsmusic for the trust and the opportunity to host the Friday🔥

Love and respect for everyone involved in making this happen, and to all the people in the dance supporting reggae music, soundsystem culture and independent festivals. So needed right now, when we can feel Babylon pressure getting harder and harder. We have to come together! Music is our weapon of choice in the resistance, a space for togetherness and upliftment, where we unite and fight as one! Deeply grateful for this movement, and for every soul who keeps the culture alive ✊❤️‍🔥

Set Ambessa (Amharisch: „Löwin“) ist ein Dub-Projekt aus München, bekannt für kraftvolle Basslines, tiefe Vibes und starke Botschaften. Lisa ist bereits seit über 15 Jahren tief in der Soundsystemkultur verwurzelt und wagte 2019 den Schritt hinter die Turntables. Seitdem bringt sie ihre einzigartigen Selections auf die Dancefloors.
Ihre Sets sind nicht nur dazu da, gute Vibes zu verbreiten – Lisa nutzt Musik auch, um auf gesellschaftliche und politische Themen aufmerksam zu machen. Die Selection von Set Ambessa bewegt sich zwischen klassischem Reggae, tiefem Dub und kraftvollen Steppas.
Set Ambessa war bereits auf zahlreichen Festivals zu hören, darunter das Fusion Festival und das Komod Festival, und hat ihre Musik in vielen Städten wie Dijon, Dortmund und Wien auf die Dancefloors gebracht.

Thursday shifts gears.

From heavyweight dub and soundsystem culture to jungle, dubstep and high-energy ghetto-tech, the second day explores the outer edges of bass music before carrying that energy deep into the night.

@setambessa is a dub crew from Munich. Lisa and Anika have shared a love for dub music for almost 15 years. In 2019, they took the plunge and started DJing, bringing their unique blend to dance floors ever since. Their sets combine classic reggae tracks, deep dub, and powerful steppa, often with political messages. They have played at festivals like Fusion and in cities such as Vienna, Dijon, and Dortmund. Whether on a large sound system or in a small club, Set Ambessa always creates a special atmosphere.
