I am beyond blessed and thankful to announce that I am fully committed to @princeton University. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to compete for the #1 university in the United States and one of the best track and field programs in the Ivy League.

Without God I am nothing, He is the reason for all of this. No matter what happens in your life, God will always be there for you. God is the firm foundation for every aspect of our lives, from family to school and sports. Live through Him and let God take control, He will never give you a challenge, setback, or pain you cannot handle. He has a plan and a purpose for each of us, even when we cannot see it in the moment. Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, but, more importantly, don't be afraid to be a light in a dark world.

1 Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!"

Without my family, coaches, teammates, and competitors I would not be in the place I am today. Thank you to all of those who have helped me on and off the track, without all of you this would still be a dream. God included every one of you in my life for a special reason.

Special thank you to @princetontrack and @marshall.faurot for this opportunity to compete at the next level!

Thank you @nibletphotography for the edit!

Introducing the Class of 2030: Welcome to Princeton, Seth Burns! 🐅

Hometown: Acworth, GA

PRs:
Pole Vault - 15’8

Why Princeton: “I chose Princeton due to the inviting culture shown by members of the track and field team. Members strive to uphold themselves to impressive standards, while also encouraging those around them, regardless of differing circumstances. From my first visit, I immediately felt connected to my peers. Their dedication and drive on and off the track inspired me to commit to the university. At Princeton, I am granted the opportunity to represent and compete for one of the most prestigious institutions in the nation, while also pursuing my academic aspirations.” by @seth.burnz
