I will never have a stronger bond with a team and a program than I have had here. These past three years have shown me that family isn’t just blood… It’s the people you share every moment with, cry with, lean on, care for, and in our world, compete with.

This year, it never felt like three separate teams. It always felt like one big family, cheering each other on in every aspect. I am so thankful I chose to come back, because this family built me back up in ways I can’t even put into words.

I never believed anyone when they said it would go by fast… but it was faster than that. It was gone in the blink of an eye. It feels like just yesterday I was walking into my first open gym at United, and now I’m looking back at pictures from my last Daytona with a program that has built so many successful athletes.

Of course, every cheerleader dreams of running into that ocean with their team, and while that moment wasn’t mine, I got something just as meaningful, I got to stand beside and support, very loudly, three teams over three years as they lived that dream. Watching this program grow, make its mark, and make every third year proud… that’s something I’ll carry with me forever.

I may not have the jackets or medals to show for my time here, but I have something more, the memories. Memories that will last a lifetime. Memories I’ll never outgrow. Memories that can’t be sized up or down. These are forever memories.

As always, this isn’t goodbye, it’s just a see you later
