My first ever collegiate game attended was a Coastal Carolina University Baseball Game back in the mid 1990's. I attended that game with a group of "troublesome" kids (I was in a before school program for kids who liked showing out/getting in trouble and needed a little extra attention/discipline). On that day at the age of 8, I became a Coastal Carolina fan and supporter. 24 years later, I showed my support through investing. We have come to the end of season number one with my name plastered on the place where great energy is felt. Sometime it's positive energy felt and sometimes it’s not so positive. But I've been emotional all season as it's my first year of forever with naming rights. Yes, I invested in FOREVER naming rights. Why? Because I stand with the young men and women who compete, cheer, and dance on this field. I also care about the fans’ enjoyment. I care about the experience for all. I stand with the team and the school no matter the season, no matter the coach, and no matter the record. I'm there to love and support. I genuinely care and want the best for the young adults that show up and put their best foot forward for us, the fans. I care for them on and off the field. I understand sports and competing at high levels and I LOVE to win but I ultimately care about these athletes and their mental state more than their winning a game. I can't stand negative energy fans or talk and I'd like to stick some of the fair weather fans at times but ya know I gotta keep it civil and professional lol. Anyway, outside of a degree, this is my first financial investment at Coastal Carolina University, with more to come. I plan to invest in other teams, complexes, and on the academia side of things. Football just happened to be the first investment. Shout out to year 1 with naming rights, making new friends, and committing to the future growth of Coastal Carolina University, its student body, and its fans. @coastalfootball @ccu_caf @goccusports @chaunceyccu @ccuchanticleers @coastalfbrecruit @coastalalumni @shjunerealestate @sunbelt #ChantsUp #SoaringHigher #CoastalCarolinaUniversity #CoastalFootball #SoarWithSeth #SHJune by @sethhjune

Thank you @ccu_caf @coastalbsb @goccusports @ccuwallcollege @birdonthird for an awesome weekend and experience! During the on field portion of the Elite 93 ā€œTalkin Ball With Schnallā€ event, thank you @kellymooreccu for putting me on the spot and making things happen and @kschnall9 for allowing me to take a few swings during bp. Kelly you must’ve read my mind thinking how cool that’d be to do but not something I would’ve ever brought up or asked. That small gesture by you and Coach Schnall enhanced my experience by 1000. And all of the players that introduced yourselves, thank you greatly as well. Y’all all made yesterday a sick experience for me. For those that will ask how I did, no nukes of course but the goal of no whiffs was met. No pop outs either. Stood up there for three pitches and hit two line drives up the middle and a weak grounder down the third base line. Of course I’d like to think I would’ve ran it out haha. It’s been 20 years since seeing a pitch and I’m not gonna lie, I was a little nervous getting in front of everybody until I stepped in the batters box and looked at the pitcher. Once I was in the box nature just kind of kicked in, I forgot about anything going on around me, and the real fun started. If I wasn’t worried about breaking to far into the teams limited time to warm up I would’ve stayed out there all day. I’ve missed that. Overall just an incredible experience and day. Again, thank you to all involved! Hype couple of days in Conway! by @sethhjune

This past Saturday I had the honor of traveling to North Carolina and standing behind the podium as the keynote speaker at the Carolinas Region of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s annual regional conference. This is the region’s largest and most exciting event of the year, where chapters and individuals are recognized and celebrated for the hard work they’ve put in throughout the year.I hate that I had to miss the awards gala and the evening celebration, but it was still a great experience to even be a small part of the conference this year. I’m excited to see what our folks from the Carolinas accomplish and receive at the national level later this year. The topic I was asked to speak on was entrepreneurship, which made for a fun conversation. Preparing for the talk gave me the opportunity to step back and reflect on life and who I am. I learned a lot through the process of putting it together and it helped me see areas where I can continue to grow and fine tune things in future speaking engagements, in my life, and in business.Thank you to Phi Theta Kappa for the opportunity. I’m grateful for the chance to be part of the conference and to grow through the experience. For those who were in attendance, I’d love to hear from you. What was one takeaway from the talk that stuck with you?#SoaringHigher by @sethhjune

Deep and relatable message with a great takeaway from Matthew 3 this morning so I figured I’d share as there’s more work to be done. Here’s the takeaway: True repentance begins with honest self-examination. It’s not about putting on a show or trying to earn God’s favor through our actions (ex. the Pharisees going to John the Baptist getting baptised). The same applies with trying to win others over/tricking others in some way by doing something you think they would like or want. You’re not fooling anyone, including yourself.Repentance is about facing the truth of who we are, turning away from sin, and letting God transform us from the inside out. What matters most is not how we look on the outside, but the condition of our hearts. When we humbly examine our lives before Him, real change begins and that change will naturally flow into how we live. I feel like I go into deep self-examination of my life at least once a month or two trying to ā€œfigureā€ things out when I know the answer and more peace would come from seeking and repenting daily. Ain’t it awesome being sick? Which we all are in some form or fashion. I mean, we know things are bad for us yet we still do them. We eat trash food. We watch soul stripping shows and movies. We sit all day and don’t move our bodies. We don’t seek and let go. The list goes on and on. Simply put: more self-examination is needed and more growth ahead. by @sethhjune

Yesterday was a long, tiring day. I attempted to knock out as much work as possible for the day from roughly 5:30–10:00am, then spent some time holding my beautiful baby girl’s paws for the very last time. Essentially every friend has spent time with Dixie at some point over the last 17 years and some change, and dang were some great memories made. She saw many phases of my life (the good, bad, and the ugly), has been by my side half of my life, and has been part of my entire adult life. She’s helped me through many difficult times and shown great love. She’s been the greatest gift and by far the most consistent thing in my life. She did an incredible job over the years, but her job’s completed. She left me in what is the greatest place I’ve ever been, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc. She held on for a long, long time and waited until I was ready and capable. At times, her (Buddy and Willis included) were the only purpose I could see in life. During extremely dark times, not knowing who would care for them was my only concern. There were many times throughout many days where I’d be walking through the house or yard and, exhausted from internal pain, would just find myself sitting on the ground tear filled eyes ready to quit life, and they’d greet me with love ultimately helping me get to the next task, next hour, next day. The days accumulated, and now years later, here we are.Continued in comments below…. by @sethhjune

I hear a lot. A speak a lot with agents within our firm, our market, and within the industry in general and the overall consensus I hear is that this market is testing everyone. Some are still crushing it of course but some are having the worst year of their careers. Yes, even worse than their experiences in the 2008-2009 era. But pressure doesn’t break the right people, it builds them. The agents who stay sharp, keep showing up, and do the work anyway are the ones who come out stronger, smarter, and ready when the tide turns. Don’t wait for the market to get easier. Get better. Stay focused. Stay professional. Let’s rise while others fold. Keep #SoaringHigher by @sethhjune
