FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY.. ESPECIALLY AFTER 40!

On a boat trip in Malta celebrating the completion of a Women’s retreat I was supporting, our driver Johnathon took us to our final stop, the magical Santa Maria Caves, he told us to climb though the back of the cave into a hidden lagoon that was also featured in the movie the count of monte cristo apparently, we made our way through it and swam in the little Lagon a very incredible moment.

As we were about to head off I had the impulse to keep exploring through the cave to the other side and quickly found my way on top of the cave, like an excited little kid, I scrambled up the rocks and walked up to above the entrance of the caves and could see our boat and the others swimming in the crystal blue waters.

I had no intention of jumping, just wanted to enjoy the view from this point and wave to everyone. That was the moment Jonathon said.. “that’s where they jump from”

What? I thought, I looked down a pang of fear and excitement in my body I hadn’t felt like this since maybe my teens when I used to jump off all kinds high things into rivers and waterholes. I sized up the jump and it was definitely in the pray to god category for me. I heard a voice saying.. “what an opportunity to experience this.. when are you going to be in Malta again? Let’s do this, you’ve got this! “

It was the moment I backed my self and Johnathon our driver said “don’t jump if you’re too sacred”.. again my inner voice.. “you’ve got this” and then I jumped surrendered and trusting. My instincts and muscle memory thankfully kicked in and I experienced a proud feeling of gratitude, love and trust in life and myself. On reflection it was one of the most meaningful little moments for me in the past 12 months, simple, quick and impactful. I’m so glad it was captured on film.

At 43 I felt more connected to my little boy / excited fearless teenager, than I have in a long time. Very grateful for that unexpected moment and how I met it.

Feeling so blessed and grateful today, Jade and I just spent a magical week in Switzerland at the Antara Tantra Festival.

It has become one of our most favourite festivals, and so grateful to return again this year. Jade offered her signature workshop on Erotik Innocence which as always was so well received. Together we offered our Awakening Intimacy Workshop which had us both in tears witnessing the depth and courage of the participants. This year was particularly special for me as my dear Teacher Amit Carmeli joined the festival to offer is WildRoots Vocal Ceremony which was a highlight for many including myself, and as I have know for a while his medicine so well received in this unique and precious setting.

The power and beauty of Lenk in Switzerland provided the perfect backdrop for a lovingly held festival with world class facilitators, amazing volunteers and a courageous and passionate event team that brought it all together for willing participants to receive, learn and grow and come together as a community. Today I reflected on all the amazing experiences I have had in this life, such a rich and varied existence, some of the highest highs and lowest lows. The expansions and contractions, living connected to something bigger than myself, and at other times feeling so separate. What a ride… I was just saying that with each passing year I feel both older and younger, another paradox. I’m here for it… and here is me a Stonehenge today! I remember learning about the is place as a kid and always knew I would visit it someday, and that someday was today… so fucking cool! I’m so fucking blessed. Thank you for all those who have been part of my adventures, both the good and the bad. Thank you to those who have offered me wisdom and their presence, and their precious..precious time.. cos in the end that’s all we have! LOVE + TRUST taken in Stonehenge by @sethlawrence.x

@jade.lesha arrived in Canada 🇨🇦 last Tuesday after 24 hrs in transit and a very busy last few weeks in Australia facilitating a 6 day Retreat in Byron and Sydney Weekend Immersion just before we left. Absolutely incredible deep work FYI

It’s been a much needed rest week here, jet lagged got us good this time, so nice to be here staying with friends and their precious young family eating, resting, living family life and exploring the beautiful nature here. Feels very different than Australia and the smells and colours are new and exciting.

Grateful to have the freedom to be living life this way with all the expansions and contractions that happen along the way.
