I’ve had conversations recently with people I love and respect who believe that when young people post about their faith—Bible verses, prayers, moments like this—it’s more about personal attention than authenticity.

I couldn’t disagree more.

What I see, especially in young men, isn’t self-promotion. It’s exploration. It’s growth. It’s courage. It’s a willingness to publicly wrestle with something bigger than themselves in a world that often pulls the other way.

Moments like this aren’t about being seen—they’re about believing in something greater.

We don’t all have to interpret faith the same way. But we should all recognize that there are powers bigger than us… and in the hardest moments, learning to trust and surrender to that matters.

The fight has already been won.

To the young athletes choosing to live and share their faith openly—keep going. It matters more than you know. Your impact reaches far beyond yourself.

I respect it. I appreciate it. And I’ll always support it. by @sethmarsolek

Happy Birthday to Amber today! This is the first year we aren’t with her as she’s off pursuing her dreams of becoming the first ever Dr. Marsolek. While we miss her, we couldn’t be more excited for her new challenge.

Also, happy birthday to ol’ Squints McGee! He turns 11 this Monday, and is at his State Tournament starting today.

This year has shown us many great adventures together as a family. Throughout, you have chosen to put the boys and I first in your life, and it’s important you know we are thankful for that.

You provide each of our sons optimism, belief and understanding on a daily basis. While each have their own challenges, they know you are always there for them.

Birthday Festivities are off and running, as Alden treated me to Hanabi last night. It was great to spend time with just him. It’s incredible to me how they can all be so different in their blessings and their challenges. Thankful for all 3 of my boys. by @sethmarsolek

Enjoyed the Fall with Spects National. Combined our two 2025 teams went 14-6-2 over 3 of best national events the country has to offer. Proud of our guys on adapting to the challenges and finding ways to win. taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @sethmarsolek

Tonight marks the end of Alden’s 2022 Baseball Season. 7 Months and 81 Ballgames between Marshall, 709 and Expos.

He has shown himself to be a natural leader, hard worker, and someone that looks to give back to the game and have a positive influence on our baseball community. I am proud of his perseverance and ability to stay true to himself even if it doesn’t come easy sometimes.

Amber and I want to personally thank his coaches for their guidance, dedication and understanding on how he sees the game. You have all made an indelible mark on who he is becoming and positive effect he will have on the world. He is truly one of a kind, and I am proud to be his Dad. by @sethmarsolek
