Working on something big for December… the premier of a new portrait series of ‘People I Know.’ My process includes a live drawing session before I capture the subject’s image and essence in paint. Thank you @mikemclaughlinphotography for capturing this step in the creative process. Stay tuned… by @sethpaintsus

My art in context. Available painting: ‘Mountainous Clouds,’ 36 x 24 in., oil on canvas, $2000. DM with interest.
Always love visiting @bklynzo in the Catskills, which has inspired all these artworks. Grateful she takes good care of them, but some are available for your walls.

Honored to have these two pieces included in The 11th Annual Plein Air Plus Exhibition, which opened today @lbif Long Beach Island Foundation. Over the course of July and August, selected artists took to Long Beach Island to paint en plein air, creating new works inspired by the island’s natural landscapes, waterways, and iconic landmarks. The result is an extensive collection of distinct perspectives on the island.
This year’s exhibition is juried by Peter Trippi, Editor-in-Chief of “Fine Art Connoisseur.”
Plein Air Plus will be on view through November 1.
Experience Long Beach Island through the eyes of the artists who captured it.

This painting has found a home with a new collector. “Bayside Sunset” is one of my favorites from a series of Sandy Hook paintings I did a few years ago when first moving to the Bayshore. Acrylics on canvas, 24 x 24 in, 2024 by @sethpaintsus
