Stephen J. Lubben, professor of law and Harvey Washington Wiley Chair in Corporate Governance & Business Ethics at Seton Hall Law, joined Money Life with Chuck Jaffe @chuckjaffe to discuss his latest book and the nation’s bankruptcy laws. He argued that these laws have often been used not to protect the broader economy from the collapse of major firms, but to shield powerful financial actors from the consequences of their decisions.

Dean Emeritus Ronald Riccio steered Seton Hall Law through one of its most consequential chapters—anchoring the school in Newark, raising its landmark building and shaping an institution built to last. As the school marks 75 years, his legacy of vision, service and purpose remains woven into its foundation.

"We, Seton Hall lawyers, are a family," he wrote. "We are bound together by our resilience, our determination, our courage in the face of adversity and our willingness to pursue improbable dreams only to see those dreams become realities."

At Seton Hall Law, Prof. Elizabeth Carter is doing exactly that—uplifting Black women, youth, low-income and working-class communities, and other marginalized groups.

Watch her story as we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month. https://shorturl.at/cQOuu
