Two incredible days at GEC+Africa 2026 ✨

Exhibiting with Amazon was more than an opportunity to showcase Setšong Tea Crafters — it was an opportunity to share the story behind our teas, our heritage, our community and the indigenous plants of Limpopo with a much wider audience. 🌿

From meaningful conversations with delegates to discovering new possibilities for growth, partnerships and market access, we left feeling inspired and reminded of why we started this journey.

For us, Setšong is about more than tea. It is about preserving indigenous knowledge, creating opportunities in rural communities and taking the richness of our heritage to the world.

A heartfelt thank you to @sellonamazonsouthafrica and the entire Amazon team for the opportunity, support and incredible hospitality throughout the exhibition. ❤️

We are grateful for every conversation, every connection and every person who stopped by our stand to experience Setšong.

From Limpopo to the world. 🌍🌿

MY INHERITANCE — THE TREASURE IN OUR HANDS. 🌿
What if the greatest treasures we have are not things we need to search for, but things that have already been placed in our hands?
Our land.
Our food.
Our seeds.
Our knowledge.
Our stories.
Our traditions.

The skills and wisdom of those who came before us.
So often, we look beyond ourselves for what is valuable, while the very things that can sustain us, connect us to who we are, and tell our story are already ours.

At Setšong, this is the work we are passionate about — remembering what our parents and grandparents knew, valuing it, preserving it, and finding ways to create economic value from it.

This Heritage Month, we invite you to gather around the table and experience that inheritance through tea, food, culture, stories and knowledge.

✨ What to expect:
🫖 Tea Tasting — discover the flavours and stories within indigenous teas
🌿 Tea Blending — explore the art of creating your own tea blend
🍲 Indigenous Food Experiences — reconnect with flavours rooted in our heritage
💃🏾 Cultural Dance — experience the rhythm and movement of our traditions
📖 Storytelling & Knowledge Sharing — hear from knowledge holders and the founders of Setšong and Naledi Farm

🌱 Education — learn about the plants, practices and knowledge that form part of our inheritance
This special experience is presented in collaboration with Naledi Farm, bringing together two spaces rooted in the preservation, celebration and economic potential of our heritage.

Because our inheritance is more than what we were given.

It is the treasure we hold, nurture and pass on.
