The 2026 Victorian Golf Industry Awards were held last night, with our club represented across four award categories. To receive this level of recognition is an outstanding achievement, and we are thrilled to share the results:

Winners:

• Tim Hanton – GMA Victoria Excellence in Management Award

• Hayden Webb – Club Professional of the Year

Runners-up:

• Matthew Lainson – PGA Coach of the Year – Game Development

• Settlers Run Pro-Am – Pro-Am of the Year

These results reflect the passion, dedication and hard work of our team, along with a shared commitment to making every day at Settlers Run better than the last.

They also reflect the club we have all built together. We are fortunate to have members who care deeply about Settlers Run, support our staff and events, and contribute so much to the club’s welcoming community.

Congratulations to Tim, Hayden, Matthew, Brook, and Jamie (Pro Am Sponsors). Thank you to our Board, staff, volunteers and members for making Settlers Run a club we are all proud of. taken in Settlers Run Golf & Country Club by @settlersrungcc

Winter Indoor League Champions 🏆 🍻

Congratulations to Peter Pullen, Terry Ryan, Steve Murphy and Craig Miller on their 2 up victory in the final of the winter indoor league last night. Undefeated throughout the season the team fought out a tight battle all night against Isaac Ryan, Will Thorn, Xavier Foster and Darcy Judd (sub).
The match was close all night before the winning team took out 4 of the last 6 holes to seal victory!

The winners receive an overnight trip to 13th Beach Golf Links including Accomodation, breakfast and a round on 1 of the two main courses. With a discounted option to play the short course at 13th beach as well. Certainly a great prize!!!

Runner up receives an all inclusive 3 hour package to XGolf Clyde.

Thanks to all players involved across the season. by @settlersrungcc

Ladies Invitational - Supporting Young Pink Sisters

On Monday the SRGCC ladies golf committee hosted our annual ladies invitational day.

The charity this year was The Young Pink Sisters. With 128 ladies playing the weather was not perfect but everyone had a great fun day enjoying the course & various activities on the day.

A big thankyou to all our generous sponsors, the SRGCC ladies members for your help in raising much needed funds for our charity.

The winners from Beaconhills Golf Club were Teresa Nagle, Leeh Schreyer, Sarah Young and Anne Betchley with a nett score of 56.5

For Nancy Meyer it was a very exciting day scoring a hole in one on our par 3 11th hole.
A big thankyou to our wonderful volunteers for standing out in wet, soggy weather to make our day complete.

We will be presenting The Young Pink Sisters with monies raised very soon. Thank you to Di Whykes for taking the photos on the day. Thank you to our ladies committee for all their hard work behind the scenes to make this day a great success.
