No rushing to fill the hours,
No endless noise asking to be heard,
Only the quiet rhythm
Of sunrise and sunset.

Between dawn and dusk
I traded stimulation for stillness.

No rushing to fill the hours,
Rising with the first light,
Coffee warming my hands
As the world slowly remembers itself.
No agenda.
No urgency.
Just the privilege of watching
A new day unfold.

And when evenings came
I found a place where the sky can breathe,
Watching the sun surrender
Without resistance,
Teaching me that letting go
Can be beautiful too.

Between dawn and dusk
I traded stimulation for stillness,
Notifications for birdsong,
To Do lists for deep breaths,
And busyness for being.

That was enough
To witness the sky
Twice each day,

Some behind the scenes snapshots of THE FIX. I was a stunt double for @gracevandien 💪

Our South African friends can watch this now on Showmax and American friends can pre-order on https://apple.co/4fmgXz6.

So many movies shoot in South Africa and international audiences never know. We hope this film can help change that by showcasing South African talent to the world.

Our goal is to defy expectations and show Hollywood that South Africa CAN make movies for the North American market that can compete with films developed that side. If THE FIX racks up enough views in North America, that will help attract more international investment into South African films.

Writer / director @kelsey.egan wrote the first draft of this script in 2013. As an indie project, it took 10 years to secure the financing. The film finally shot in Cape Town end 2021 with the South African lead cast starring opposite the international cast, who enabled the production to secure its financing. With over 600 VFX shots, post-production took two years. We’re so flipping stoked to share this film with the world, it’s almost more exciting to us than the Springboks’ world domination - although to be fair, we expect nothing less there 😂

It’s a brilliant film - trust me you want to watch it. I feel so honoured to play a small part in it 🙌🔥
