Small moments of a love that has been shared for a year now. One year with the man who reclaimed the word ‘love’ in a shattered heart. One year with the man who always opened his arms to me and let us fall away from the darkness of the world.
Pieces of me that I did not even know were broken have been carefully cherished and yet wildly adored. You, my very breath, were exactly what I have prayed for all of my life. I thank you for showing me the purity that still lives in this world and a love so unconditional that I can become everything I have always wanted to be, but feared would be pushed away. The light that I have reclaimed with your unending encouragement is just another step toward the woman I continue to build and become.
We have always shown up for each other. Therefore this does not need to be said, but say it I will: Here I am. All of me. All yours to love and always to have. I am blessed. I love you.
